Since no one requested anything, but I still have oodles of ✨energy✨, I decided to jot down some of my own personal headcanons about Niragi. Enjoy with a grain of salt and a cool glass of water :)

Pairing: Niragi x Reader (AU where Niragi isn’t a sexual-assaulting monster)

I think it goes without saying that Niragi is gonna go for a woman that is willing to fight fire with fire

Cause he’s just gonna steamroll anyone who isn’t willing to put him in check-- all it took was the right swimsuit on you, and no small amount of nerve

Everyone is shook the first time you sass him in public, but tbh the whole encounter just made his dick twitch

He didn’t mind it at all because he knew he’d have you bent over screaming later

And everyone would see the marks on your neck, shoulders, and thighs the following day to prove it

You know when to let him rampage, and when to throw it right back in his face

Killing traitors, there’s no point in interrupting him

Terrorizing new members of the Beach? Not on your watch

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) 

Ryohei is extremely affectionate once he gets comfortable enough around you that he isn’t shy or afraid to do certain things. He would most likely show affection by actions rather than words, like doing random chores for you or something as simple as cooking dinner that night instead of ordering take out of some sort, he would also show it by constantly hanging around you, but not in a annoying way. He would either always be holding your hand or touching you in some sort of way just to show silently that he’s still there for you and always will be.

B = Best Friend (what would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) A friendship with Ryohei would more than likely start from either you two meeting at an internet cafe of sorts to play video games or meeting over a game in a store, knowing Ryohei, he would probably start out pretty shy around you in the beginning of the friendship but he would soon break out of his shell and become more comfortable around you. Ryohei as a best friend would be amazing, sleepovers while gaming and eating pizza, him randomly showing up at your house because he needs to get away from his father and brother, and he would be so supportive of whatever you do or want to do. A 10/10 friend for sure. 

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Ryohei absolutely loves to cuddle, and all of the time. He doesn’t mind if he’s the little or big spoon, he just enjoys being close to you and feeling genuinely relaxed and good that you are there with him at that moment, especially at his most vulnerable times. He particularly likes spooning or any way that he can have his arms wrapped around you or vice versa because he cherishes every moment when he’s being held or holding you. Ryohei also wants to cuddle almost all the time when the two of you are alone, wanting to be close with you at all times because once he’s caught on, he’s never letting go. 

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Ryohei would love to settle down with you, and he actually thinks about it a lot surprisingly. He is good at cleaning, when you tell him to do it at least because he’s a little lazy, cooking…is a different story, he can cook ramen, eggs, premade oven foods, but that’s about it. Now, if he had a recipe in front of him and all of the materials he probably could make whatever that is, maybe, it all really depends on how difficult the food is or he won’t do it. That being said, he does love cooking with you, it’s much more fun and he enjoys any time that he spends with you. 

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) 

No matter what, Ryohei would feel utterly terrible for wanting to break up with you and actually doing it. That being said, he would try and do it in the least painful way possible especially if you were still in love with him and he wasn’t with you. Most likely Ryohei would write a note out and give it to you indirectly either through a friend or just slipping it under your door and quickly leaving before you realize it was him because he can’t face you when he’s going to break your heart, and he won’t ever hurt you, even if it hurts more without seeing him face to face doing it. 

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?) Ryohei feels very strongly about commitment, and he would totally want to get married to you and move in together, but he will go the same pace as you, never wanting to pressure you into doing something you don’t want to do and won’t voice his feelings of wanting to marry you until you say something first. He would want to get married pretty fast once he knows that you want to as well, probably after 2 years of being with you or so, so that he knows you two really genuinely love each other. 

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) 

Ryohei is the most gentle boyfriend you could ever ask for, both physically and emotionally, which is uncommon for most. Physically, he couldn’t hurt a fly anyways, so he would be extra gentle and careful with you just in case something does happen and he accidentally hurts you, which he would feel completely terrible if he did so. Emotionally he’s even more gentle, this mostly being because he knows how it feels to be hurt over and over again, and he never wants that to happen to you, so he always chooses his words very carefully when talking about a sensitive topic or literally anything, never wanting to hurt you in any way even unknowingly since he was so accustomed to it at home. 

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Ryohei literally adores hugs, he loves them so much but he will never verbally ask for it, he’s the type to just hold out his arms to you and you have to assume he wants a hug because he won’t actually say that he wants one. He will hug you at literally any time he wants, whether it’s a back hug whilst your cooking, or literally hugging you while sleeping, he always wants to hug you it’s so cute. Ryohei’s hugs are like a rush of warmth that just makes you feel all nice and fuzzy on the inside with how you can really tell that he loves you just by how he hugs, and he tends to stay in that position for quite some time, just simply enjoying the warmth you give. 

I = I Love You (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Ryohei probably says it quite fast into the relationship, like around 6 or so months because no one has ever treated him like you do before and he knows pretty quickly that he loves you. He most likely accidentally blurts it out while you’re talking and he has to hope that you say it back so that he doesn’t look stupid and get embarrased. 

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when their jealous?)

Ryohei doesn’t really get jealous because he knows you would never leave him for anything, but of course, there are moments when he does. He won’t do anything in the moment if someone is flirting with you, but he will express his discomfort the next time you two are alone and he sounds a little bit sad but just reassure him a little bit and it will all be better and work pretty fast. He never wants to initiate fights of course, so there will be times where he won’t even tell you that he’s jealous but it’s obvious by his actions and expressions so you have to still reassure him that you won’t leave him for anyone or anything, and give him lots of cuddles he needs it. 

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?) Ryohei’s kisses are often short and sweet, but with many emotions lurking deep inside of them every time he kisses you, even if it’s just a peck before going somewhere. His lips may be chapped from time to time, but they are somehow still soft and every kiss makes you feel like you’re floating on a cloud. Ryohei likes to kiss you on your head or hand, especially at the most random times. He’ll be holding your hand and randomly pull it up to his lips and kiss either the inside of your wrist or just your hand in general. He likes to be kissed anywhere, he doesn’t care when or where you kiss him, he’s going to cherish and enjoy every kiss he has with you no matter what, that being said, he does particularly enjoy getting kissed on the cheek, it makes him easily blush and stutter out responses but he loves it for how innocent it is and how much of an effect it has on him. 

L = Little Ones (How are they around children, how do they feel about having kids, etc)

Ryohei is extremely good with kids, he is always playing around with them and making them laugh but would never think once about having kids with you, not in the bad way though! He just never thought anyone would actually want to have kids with him so he’d never thought of it before, but he would love to! While he would be worried that he would end up like his father if you guys had two or more, all he needs is a little reassurement and then he’ll be okay and believe that he will be better than his fucked up father. 

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Mornings with Ryohei are usually spent laying in bed for much longer than supposed to be with how he simply won’t let go of you whatsoever, the epitome of “just five more minutes” but that tends to change into hours if you don’t pry yourself out of his grip. He has a hard time getting up early much more with him constantly being up all night playing video games, but if you get up earlier than him and start cooking then he’ll wake up shortly after because he can smell the food and will make coffee (or drink a redbull) while watching you cook breakfast. Ryohei is pretty groggy in the mornings and it takes some time for him to actually wake up and get moving around and start to do the normal things. 

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) 

Nights with Ryohei are mostly spent with the two of you playing video games all night, or you watching him play video games all night. That, or watching movies so late into the night that you two end up passing out on the couch or in bed while movies are still playing and wake up to some random thing still on. Ryohei stays up late pretty much every night, which is why he has such a hard time getting up in the mornings, but he just loves you and wants to constantly be around you.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

It would probably take some time for Ryohei to fully open up to you, unless you two were friends before getting together. After a few months he would slowly start opening up about certain things like his trauma and terrible family, but when he does it feels like such a weight has been lifted off of his shoulders because he knows he can trust you and that you care about him, he just needs some time to realize that you completely understand and don’t think of him differently with his trauma and more. He would probably spill everything at once most likely while eating dinner at home just so that he can go to sleep resting easy knowing he isn’t hiding anything from you anymore, because it can be extremely difficult to open up about trauma that you’ve experienced and never really told anyone since most people would judge. 

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

It is extremely hard for Ryohei to get angry, like, genuinely angry to the point where he will actually yell or give the silent treatment. He has a lot of patience and is the most understanding boyfriend he could possibly be, but of course, he does have moments when he gets angry and will actually say something about it, but it is very rare for him to do so. Though, it is easy to calm him down whether it’s getting him food or you just being by his side, but, if an argument happens between the two of you then it will either be harder for him to get better or easier, it really depends on how serious the argument is and if it will affect you both later. 

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?) 

Ryohei has an amazing memory, and therefore he will remember pretty much everything you tell him, even the weirdest things that you say which surprise you that he somehow remembers those moments. He is the type to write down things that you say you like or enjoy so that he can get you those things at random times when he has money or for gifts or even just simple date ideas like going on a picnic or something of the sorts. He most likely has a whole book dedicated to the things he’s written down that you like or literally things you just say to him at both the worst and best moments. 

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?) 

Ryohei’s favorite moment with you is most likely the day he met you, because it was when his world was turned completely upside down and he wouldn’t expect to be where he is today without you and his amazing friends who have stuck with him through thick and thin. But really, every moment he spends with you is his favorite moment, he just loves you so fucking much that there isn’t a single second that he doesn’t enjoy being with you. 

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?) Ryohei is very, very protective of you, like, more than what you would expect with him. He protects you in various ways, whether that be standing up for you when someone insults you or is trying to flirt with you right in front of him even if it results in getting his ass beat up terribly, to making sure you don’t do things that could possibly be detrimental to your health in any sort of way, physical, mental, or emotionally. Ryohei does like to be protected by you at times, but usually he is too shy to be verbal with it and it mostly results in you having to stand up for him in some sort of situation that he’s uncomfortable in and he feels very grateful and thankful for you always afterwards. 

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, and everyday tasks?) Ryohei puts his all into everything with you, dates, gifts, chores, literally everything you could possibly think of. He isn’t playing around with you, anything you ask him to do he will immediately drop whatever it is that he is currently doing and go do what it is you asked him of, and will do it thoroughly so it makes you happy, he doesn’t half-ass things when it comes to you at all. Anniversaries he plans extremely well surprisingly and always wants to do things special and different on those special days. 

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?) 

Let’s be honest, he probably doesn’t wash his hair as often as he should be. Oh, and he uses 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. 

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?) 

Ryohei didn’t give two shits about his looks before he met you to be honest, but, after he did meet you, he did start to care about how he looked and started to clean himself up more and actually put some effort into his outfits, hair, etc. 

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Oh most definitely. It seems every time he gets close to someone they end up either fucking him over or dying, so if you were to leave him in any sort of way he would be so heartbroken that he would become severely depressed and resort back to his old lifestyle. Ryohei obviously has attachement issues with how many people he’s seen die and turn on each other in the games, so he would freak out and it probably wouldn’t end well.

Ryohei’s love languages are words of affirmation and quality time (also physical touch)

Ryohei moves a lot in his sleep, he can’t seem to stay still. He also tends to have nightmares even well after everything has gone down, some are worse than others which result in him sleeping less than normal.

- let’s start with the first meeting, it either happened before or during the time in the borderlands, it really depends tbh, but for the sake of this, we’ll say the two of you met before the games

- you most likely went to the same school as her and knew of her just from what people said in the halls, never even sparing a glance at her with the stories you’d heard from friends or just random students who talked far too loudly

- you knew teenagers liked to make up stupid lies or stories so most of what you heard you didn’t believe, mainly because a part of you thought everyone had good in them and not just what people gossip about or say behind each other’s backs

- much to your surprise though, akane ended up speaking to you first which was definitely…interesting to say the least

- of course, you knew of her, quite a lot of people at the school did, but never once did you think she would be talking to you first, and definitely not about that she needed help in one of her classes

- you were utterly confused as to why she was asking you of all people when you had never spoken to her even once, and you didn’t even realize she was in one of your classes until she told you so

- so you did help her with the class, and it spiraled into something you didn’t know what it was

- you knew of her history of toying with boys and their girlfriends, and at first you thought you were going to fall in with the others as a victim to the beautiful girl but turns out it wasn’t

- but one day, akane disappeared, without anyone knowing where she went, then soon after you too found yourself in the life-or-death games that were the borderlands

- by the time you found her again, she almost looked like a different person. a prosthetic leg, bow and arrow, and a look you’d never seen before

- but as soon as she saw you, that demeanor quickly evaporated when she immediately hugged you, leaving you both confused again and surprised

- you were able to adapt to the new world rather fast, only because you had her with you the whole time, but you were still confused as to why you both were sent here and how, but you tried not to question it too much

- during your time together in the borderlands before the second stage, you two grew much closer than you thought you would, and one night while you were about to fall asleep, you heard her mumble something almost inaudible

- “you know, you’re not so bad, i’m glad you’re here.”

- you thought you were hearing things for a second, not being able to believe that she would actually say that to you, but when you turned over to look at her, she was asleep or faking it at least, which made you sigh, rubbing your hands over your face trying to decide if you were going crazy or not

- why were you thinking you were crazy? well, for one, she had never said anything like that before, and two, well, you might have had a crush on her, but who wouldn’t?

- the next night, you decided to question her about it, not wanting to press too much but you needed a clear answer with all the different signs the girl was giving you that left you confused as to whether she cared about you or not

- when you did ask akane if what you heard was right the night before, her whole body froze once realizing she had been caught and she knew that she couldn’t just lie now, so after a few seconds of silence on both ends, she ended up telling you the truth that yes, she did say that, yes, she did care about you, and yes, she did have feelings for you

- you honestly couldn’t believe it honestly. the heiya akane having feelings for you? real feelings? it felt like some sort of wild dream you never expected would come to real life, but you definitely weren’t going to complain

- and that was how the relationship started whoop whoop

- after that was finally established, you noticed a big difference in her, not a bad one, but one you weren’t expecting, one where she finally seemed to be the real akane, not the one everyone else had seen at school or even in the borderlands, and you were the only person she’d shown it to

- when the second stage started, the both of you knew things were only going to get harder, and that meant a higher risk of you two separating entirely and possibly never seeing each other again, so she stayed by your side the entire time, slowly developing a fear of losing you, the only person who seemed to genuinely understand her, that way if anything were to happen to you, she would be right there to help

- but neither of you thought the king of spades would be going for every player not participating in a game yet, and that you would have to kill some sort of mercenary who was trained to kill instead of two high school kids, a loser gamer, and a military man

- aguni gave you a gun when the time came down to it, not that you really knew how to use it, but you’d played enough video games to understand the gist of how to, and eventually, you lost that gun because of the flood that rushed throughout the district

- after that (fun) fiasco with the king of spades, all of you decided to let someone else finish the rest of the games, plus you guys did relatively the hardest one, so it was fair you guys sit out for the rest of the second stage

- those few days while letting the other players complete the games, akane wouldn’t leave your side once, almost like some sort of puppy never wanting to separate from its owner, and of course, you knew the reason why after you practically drowned, but you never thought she would show it in front of other people with everyone being around constantly

- but wow heiya akane actually showing she cares and loves someone??? you never thought you’d live to see it

- anyways akane was probably the one cooking for you and the other two, mostly because arisu couldn’t cook shit, aguni would eat anything good or not, and you didn’t really have a clue on how to cook with limited supplies

- now, she’s not the greatest cook in the world, but she was used to cooking herself meals almost every day so she knew how to make basic things, but anything was good in the borderlands, even if it was burnt somehow or wasn’t cooked all the way

- you might be surprised, but akane does like cuddling with you, only when you two are alone, though, because it still is embarrassing for her to be like that with someone after so many years of believing she wouldn’t ever find it

- cuddling while going to sleep is a must with her, she doesn’t care how, she just needs to be holding onto you in some way while sleeping just so she knows you’re still there and not some fragment of her imagination like the 7 of spades game when she almost died

- speaking of that game, she comes with a lot of trauma after that one game, with getting stabbed in the side, completely destroying her leg, and almost dying of dehydration, it was normal too, and she wouldn’t want to speak of it at any time

- akane would also steer away from talking about her mother and parents in general, she knows how she was back in the real world because of her shitty mother, and the borderlands have changed her, just as it did with everyone

- for some odd reason, when half-asleep is when she is the most affectionate and really speaks what she thinks about you which tends to lead to more on most nights, not that you would complain though

- akane would probably be weird about nicknames for some time, not really understanding the point of calling someone something like “babe” but eventually it slips out and she’s too lazy to pretend like she didn’t want to say it

- that being said, her nicknames for you reign somewhere between “my angel”, “my love” basically anything with “my” in front of it she will call you, it doesn’t matter, and yes that does mean she will add “my” to any random nickname she calls you

- this poor girl doesn’t really know what affection or love is, so she always looked away when someone said they had a crush on her, not wanting to get invested in someone like that, so any act that is even the tiniest bit affectionate or loving will have her face red and her unable to speak because no one has actually genuinely loved her before, so she might break down a few times too

- literally during the first days together you could find some random thing while scavenging for food like even something so stupid like a toy dog or some shit and bring it to her and she would start crying

- that being said, when she does get more comfortable with the thought of being committed to a relationship with you, she will grow more bold with what she says toward you and will even get to the point of teasing you in all sorts of ways, yes, all sorts

- while she would rather die than admit the things she says and does afterwards, she still does enjoy every moment she spends with you

– during the wait while arisu played the queen of hearts with usagi, out of worry with what would happen when you all left the borderlands, akane ended up telling you everything she thought about you and how she does genuinely care about you

– you didn't expect her to say all that she did, but it was understandable with not knowing what would happen once arisu cleared the game, so the two of you sat with everyone else while they talked, her head leaning on your shoulder

– then, hearing arisu cleared the game with usagi, everyone was asked whether they wanted to stay or not, you and akane both said to leave for obvious reasons

– the split second you two had before being sent back to the real world was spent with akane saying she loves you before you woke up

– waking up in the hospital left you confused as to what happened, having no memory of the borderlands but when you ended up finding akane again, you remembered her from school

– you had decided to strike up a conversation with her which had worked and resulted in talking to her more than in any class before

– you had a feeling about something, almost as if you knew more about her without actually knowing, so what did you do? ask her out

– luckily, she agreed and the next week you two went out, helping her get around on the crutches she had from losing her leg and things spiraled

– even if you two didn't remember the time you spent together in the borderlands, you found each other again and simply start over

– that being said, you two did end up dating after a few months of occasional dates and learning more about each other

– akane would often invite you to her place because of how lonely it is when it's just her in the apartment even if you two didn't do anything but just sit in silence, she was just happy to have someone around her

– without either parent in the picture, there was still a few things akane didn't realize was considered not good when in a relationship with someone like occasionally agreeing to go out with some guys out of simply fun only to realize they meant literally go out with her

– and while it's hard for her to apologize, she immediately does say sorry to you when she does realize she probably shouldn't do that but she's never had a real relationship before so she's a little clueless at times

– if you're still upset, she would give you your space for a while but eventually come up to you and hug you from behind and say (again) that she's sorry and didn't mean to upset you, suggesting to do something to get your mind off it of some sort

– now, if she's the one upset, you better be prepared for a long cuddle session because she will need it, probably crying a little too but once she eventually falls asleep from crying she wakes up again feeling fine

– she really does love you a lot, she just has some hard times showing it but she does, and she wouldn't trade you for anything in the world
