The afternoon sun glowed bright orange over the horizon, casting a golden halo over her head. Standing inside Haneda Airport, smiling underneath her mask and waving her hands slightly at the cameras flashing on her.
Being led by her manager, Y/N effortlessly walked amongst the crowd of the press and her fans, exiting the airport while the official authorites formed a barrier around her, keeping the fans a few feet away from her while shouting not too get too close to her. But despite the restrains, Y/N cheerily waves her hands at her fans.
And even though she entered the black van, her fans, whom she calls her Shooting Stars, maintained a good distance between them and the van. And as Y/N rested her back on the leather seat, her manager handed to her a thick script.
"Read your parts, highlight them even so you won't. Filming starts tomorrow." Her manager said, sitting beside the sliding door of the van.
Y/L/N Y/N, a young Japanese girl who was only sixteen years old when she had dreams of becoming a Kpop artist. Following the path of her favorite idols, she flew out of Tokyo to Seoul, despite the protest of her parents, convincing her that she can still become an idol even in Tokyo.
At the age of sixteen, she signed under what was before, Big Hit Entertainment. From day to night, Y/N spent most of her days inside the practice rooms, and though she is a foreigner who lacked the knowledge on how to speak basic Korean, her fellow trainees helped her readand write hangul, teaching her a few street slang even.
And there were days wherein Y/N felt like giving up, because she couldn't see the progress she was making, days wherein she felt sick but still pushed herself to practice. Whenever her mother called her, Y/N couldn't help but cry on her line, though she was homesick she promised her that she'll one day see her face all over Tokyo.
Two years later, her hardwork paid off when Big Hit announced that they would be debuting a seven member girl group called Scintilla, and it included Y/N. This was one of the start of her blossoming career, and after the made Scintilla's debut, they bagged their first music show win, had their first group vacation reality show that was filmed in Jeju, held their first two days sold out concert in Seoul and lastly, individual members having their own individual schedules.
Just like what she promised to her mother, Y/N's face was all over Tokyo, becoming a hot and trending topic in various social websites and apps. And it was a first time that a foreign idol was receiving a lot of love calls. Though it was overwhelming, Y/N felt extremely happy and thankful not only for the company and her members, but to the fans as well as they watched her improve and show the world what she is capable of.
After Scintilla's fourth anniversary, it was announced that Y/N would be halting all her remaining activities in 2020 to focus on her acting career in Japan. The fans online gave their support for her, saying that though she would be absent for a few comebacks, at least she is happy with what she is doing.
For her first acting gig, Y/N took the role of Sarashina Sakura, the love interest of Niragi Suguru and Chishiya Shuntaro. Her only worry is that, her fans would have a difficult time seeing her concept change, from sweet innocent to a girl who wears a two piece throughout the series.
As the van slowly started in motion and drove off the parking of the airport, Y/N looked out of the window and watched the view of Tokyo, her hometown whom she missed dearly. Taking the script in her hands, she turned immediately to the page where she would be first revealed, Episode 2 - 5 of Spades game:
