Aideen, My Falling Star

This has been sitting in the drafts for a while but I basically wanted to paint Aideen before she fell to Jorvik.

there's something kinda funny how one of the main ways to farm jorvik shillings in this game now is through the path of terra, and more generally by selling lights from hollow woods

you're selling aideen's light. The Goddess Aideen offers you Her blessed light to aid you in your progress through the ancestral druidic arts. and you trade it for money.

you gather 2192418 lights, enough blinding lights to dissipate all the haunting darkness and push garnok back from whence he came. aideen looks upon you from above with pride.

but you shove the lights in your closet, as if but mere clothing

and mutter, "there's a festival very soon and i want the pretty medieval gears, i'll sell all those lights lol"

aideen save us for your chosen one is corrupted

Hi got a break from exams and drew my interpretation of Aideen :3

Redraw of Alphonse Mucha's Topaz painting hehe explanations below cut as usual :P

Made her look less human but I made her horns look like they could be mistaken for a crown from a distance. Her dress is inspired by the paintings of the Soul Riders in Pinehill Manor during episode 2 of Starshine Legacy.

She's got an orb in between her horns to represent the wisdom that led to the Moon circle. The bracer is the shield that led to the sun circle. The brooch is over her heart which led to the Star circle. And the ring on her right hand is inspired by the Draupnir ring in GoW and is her judgement aka the Lightning circle.

Will eventually colour this when I figure out a good colour pallet :3
