Although he wasn’t expecting the hug, Jacob was still quick to reciprocate it, wrapping his arms around the other. He hummed lightly, enjoying the embrace.

After a moment he broke the silence, asking, “Something wrong, Addie? Or did you just want a hug?”

“I don’t think being covered head to toe in bruises would be considered nothing,” Jacob retorted. Despite his slight joking tone, he was of course genuinely concerned for the other.

“I’m just hoping that you got those from the fight club, and not something else,” He added, crossing his arms. Fight club was one thing, but the thought of her getting this beat up from Blighters or Templars? It was already enough to get him angry.

“Oh well,” He decided with a shrug, “As long as they don’t go to waste.” Finished with the last touches of the crown in his hand, he gently placed it on top of Aiden’s head. “There, now this is a good use of flowers!”

Does Aiden die young, or does she live a long life?

Well, I’d have to say young, I’ve given this a lot of thought, Aiden dies just days before her 36th birthday. She gets shot in the back, just above her heart. She staggers forward and falls off a building, landing down on the cobblestone beneath, her ribs shattering as she bleeds out. She ends up dying there, no one comes for her. She is eventually moved by a few street workers and given a proper burial in an unmarked grave. Hope that answers your question, Anon!
