Friendly reminder that Sherlock would be super conscious of his stretch-marks tho
he would so act like he doesn’t though??? he’d be like ‘it’s all fine’ about it, I mean he walks around practically naked a lot so I imagine he at least tries to hide his insecurities/overcompensates for them
BUT when John touches them for the first time, when Sherlock’s lying down on his bed all soft and warm and pink, his breath absolutely hitches in his throat and his fingers twitch like they want to stop him - but he doesn’t. And his heart races even though he knows John has scars of his own, but John can see him, see inside him, and he just looks lovingly down at those marks and presses his lips against them with so much tenderness and i’m going to explode
