Anonymous asked: So you really met Cantarella! I'm glad she could help you! And I had no idea that she could do that, Kirby! You mean, she put your... that's amazing! I have to ask her where she learned that. Now I remember she mentioned a "handsome vacuum" after she returned...
Yeah, that is something worth checking out.
Plus, I have a hunch that her other housemates know about that, too.
She knows what sheās talking about, Iāll give her that.
... That couldāve been anyone. There were tons of vacuums in that place.
Including, yes, other Kirbys. Plus, many other brands.
You name it, they had it.
Anonymous asked: Hi, this is Aileea! Thank you for this guide, Radio. It turns out I discovered that my desk lamp, vacuum and alarm clock are alive. Fortunately, the discovery didn't shock me at all since I already knew about you. The only thing I was concerned about was the thought that the alarm clock would have seen me when I change my clothes for bedtime, but he said he didn't since he was frozen then, every time. They are all quite sweet, but very afraid. Thank you for telling me how to keep them safe. Oh, and what are the Rules you mentioned?
Any time, Aileea! Hah, I suppose when youāre already aware of living machines, seeing your own following the trend isnāt so shocking! Not panicking is a good step forward. As mentioned, as you already know, we arenāt privy to your privacy unless that is what you want!
... Unless it involves escapades to save a something-or-other, of course. Ha ha...
Anyway, the Rules? Well, it can differ between households, but Iāll share with you the universally enforced ones:
- Do not interact with Humans, or be seen by them. When their presence draws near, freeze at your designated spot.
- If Humans are nearby, keep quiet to not draw attention to yourself.
- If you move a Humanās belongings, make sure to put them back exactly the way you found them.
- If a Human steals you from your Mastress, they are a Pirate; therefore, escape whenever the opportunity strikes. You do not belong to them.
- If a Human forgets to use you according to habit/energy saving prior to leaving/sleeping (switching off a light, setting an alarm if they needed to, etc), do not perform the action yourself. (Donāt follow this one, folks. Itās always better to help out!)
- If a Human finds out about you, they must keep the Secret too. Additionally, do not out any other appliances unless itās asked of you.
Do these make sense? They seem like a lot, but it's not, for us. They're usually unspoken, anyway.
Anonymous asked: Can any of you imagine falling in love with another appliance?
Toaster: Well... Iām not sure if I can,Ā really. Itās hard to explain, but itās just never happened to me. And you know what, Iām okay with that.
Blanky: Probably not, but I feel a lot more happy seeing other appliances find love! Itās so sweet...!
Lampy:Ā Hm... No, I donāt believe I could. I believe Iām satisfied with my choices in life. Even if something happened... I wouldnāt. I decided that a long time ago.
Radio:Ā In a far-flung future? Possibly. But, thatās a stretch. You know how long it took me to move on from a previous relationship? I donāt take this stuff lightly!
Anonymous asked: Hi everyone! 2020 is Beethoven jubilee year, so what do you all think about Beethoven?
Toaster: Oh, it is? Wow, thatās wonderful! Beethovenās pretty cool, but I donāt know much about him.
Blanky: Itās really been that long? ... I thought it already was. Oops! He was an inspiration, though!
Lampy: Inspiration? Oh, thereās so much more to it than that! Eccentric, captivating, and a maestro of the time! He couldnāt hear, but he heard music in his head, and wouldnāt stop until he was able to put down exactly how it sounded! He was amazing.Ā
Radio: Aw, youāre starting to sound a little like me.
Lampy: Am I? I mean, I learned this from you!
Radio: Hah, true.
Kirby: His work sounds like my life. A roller coaster. Heās calling me out from beyond the grave...
Anonymous asked: All of you, what is your favorite music genre?
Radio: Freeform Jazz!
Toaster: Wait, really? I thought it was--
Radio: Freeform Jazz. Only true enthusiasts can come to appreciate the solidarity of it.
Lampy: Oh, Jazz is fun! Letās see how that sounds--... Nevermind. Forget we did that.
Toaster: ... Anyway, I like whatever this is. Does it have a name? I canāt quite tell.
Blanky: I did mention that I was strangely fond of music for cats, but for actual music, I like Psychedelic, and Music Boxes!
Kirby: You? Psychedelic?
Blanky: Yeah! I love the way it flows!
Radio: You do know the purpose of that one, right?
Blanky: ęäøå»; of course I do! You can still enjoy it, no matter what.
Toaster: He has a point, you know. That being said... Whoās next?
Lampy: Regular Jazz is great, but Iām also fond of... Oh, whatās it called... Well, Google says that Dan Deacon is ElectroPop, so Iāll go with that! However, I like a broad range of other genres, too!
Kirby: I suppose whatever this man puts out...
Radio: By the way, I was joking. I like Swing (and ElectroSwing), Rock 'N Roll (and Rockabilly)... Oh, and fast-paced Jazz!
