The first of two images feature four artworks from our invited artists, surrounded by the Spirit & Strife darkened cloudy background with wisps of lifestream in the corners. First: Cloud in his Advent Children attire from @crimson-sun’s tarot card set, where he’s looking past the camera and ready to fight. Second: this study by @likovacs is a close-up of Cloud's determined expression, based on his Remake design, with detailed highlights in his eyes. Third: this print sold in @nikusenpai’s shop shows Cloud gazing directly forward with intensity despite the cuts on him, in his Remake attire and bathed in light from the lifestream. Fourth: this work from @seraphily’s portfolio shows Cloud floating in the lifestream with a calm but still wondering expression, wearing his Remake attire.
The second image contains an excerpt of writing from our invited writer, @aimeelouart (also found on AO3 as AimeeLouWrites). The text is set on the Spirit & Strife darkened cloudy background with wisps of lifestream in the corners. The excerpt reads:
"How would you have mako eyes if you're not a SOLDIER?" Cloud could hear the silent ‘idiot’ tacked onto the end of the question. For someone who hypothetically believed Cloud was a First, Genesis was being remarkably irreverent.
Then again—it was Genesis.
"I was bitten by a radioactive Sephiroth,” Cloud said, straight-faced. The look he got in return was absolutely priceless. He wished he had a PHS on hand to document it.
