Wondering if anyone has ever rocked up to a tcg tournament with a deck designed to deck itself out turn one, before the opponent gets to play. Like a reverse donk strat to lose as quickly and with a little interaction as possible.
There is a Miku in the small market town of Leek, Staffordshire.
I've waited a few days to see if the artist was going to post this, but I don't think they are, so I'm posting it myself. OC commission I got from: 7447z/ Lawzanid
I'm super happy with how she came out, cannot recommend the artist enough.
I got the survey for TTYD in my email today, one of the last questions is about what do you think is the best change from the original in the Switch version and I took the time to type out something probably way too emotional, but here goes:
"When playing the original game as a pre-teen, my favourite character was Vivian. She was a character I felt was very similar to myself, which was rare for me growing up, and this made her stand out to me. I made sure to keep her as my active party member as much as possible, she became one of my favourite characters in video games and remained a character I felt a sentimental attachment to years later. It wasn't until years after I had played TTYD that I first heard about her identity in the original Japanese version and how this was translated out of the English release. This saddened me, while I now know her treatment in the original script was less than kind, I did feel as though we lost an important aspect of her character with the translation. When I first heard about the remake, I crossed my fingers that the game would receive a new translation, one that would be more accurate to Vivian. Having reached chapter 4 and seeing the line, she says to Mario "it took me a while to realize I was their sister… not their brother." I can say a wish of mine, one I had thought was unrealistic, has been fulfilled. While this may seem like a minor change compared to the graphical/ musical updates and the many quality of life improvements the switch version delivers, this is still the most important change in the game for me. As both a person who feels a close bond to Vivian and as someone who would later discover herself as a trans woman years after that bond had formed, Vivian being not just allowed to exist openly as a trans woman, but being treated kindly is something that is worth the world to me. I would like to thank both the people who wrote the switch version of TTYD and the English translation team for giving me and many others something that means so much. Thank you."
It will be so fucking funny if Guel kills his brother too.
Anyone know if she's actually good?
