the two interactions between martin and daisy in the entire podcast involved one threatening the other

not to like get upset but i have noticed yall, white trans people, seem to be in a doom spiral afraid of being picked up and murdered or put into camps. and i mean valid, its ok to be scared rn. but... A lot of you are silent about black and brown hispanic and indigenous people currently, actively (and even going back a decade during past administrations) getting killed or picked up and literally brought who the fuck knows where, sometimes sent to literal camps, or if you do say something its 'this could be us next' and thats actually really shitty. Stop doing that. Thats super shitty. i say this as a hispanic trans person, we are not the warning siren for people to rush to your protection. harm to our community isnt the spurring force so people start protecting yours. thats really such a shitty outlook, and i know it stems from anxiety, but its so incredibly tone deaf and self centered.

wild to me that people are actually trying to defend that classification system cause my reaction whenever i see poor curation is the unshakeable urge to go get a qualification in curation just to be able to storm back in and smack everyone's hands away so i can do it properly this time (yes i know it would never be that easy, but a woman can dream)

okay when people make those hot takes comparing snape's trauma to harry's, and basically saying that because harry was abused and neglected and handled his own trauma well, that snapes behavior was completely unjustified and not indicative of unresolved trauma it's just so weird to me because??

do they forget the scenes where harry literally gets so pissed he fantasizes about using the cruciatus curse against snape in graphic detail? or when he gangs up with george and beats up draco? or blew up his aunt? or trapped Dudley in a snake enclosure? or when he'd blow up at Ron and Hermione everytime they disagreed with him? or when he goes on a three page long rant blaming snape for everything that happened in the department of mysteries despite the fact that snape actively tried to save sirius and protect the rest of the order? harry had really bad anger issues throughout the entire series and had extreme symptoms of unresolved trauma, but because he took out his anger on the antagonists of the story it isn't identified as being unresolved trauma responses, his anger is instead identified as being righteous and justified. but because snape is viewed through the antagonist lens by so many people, his anger is no longer viewed as symptoms of clearly unresolved trauma and potential ptsd, and instead people just view him as a bitter and petty manchild.

I'm going to be honest, harry's anger was justified about 80% of the time, but acting like his childhood and the things he witnessed at Hogwarts had no bearing on how he responded to certain situations is just disingenuous. he is severely traumatized, and his reactions are trauma responses and so are Snape's. like obviously Snape being a dick to his students is just because Snape is a dick, but Snape's reaction to Sirius and Lupin? Snape's reaction after he catches Harry snooping through the pensieve? Snape threatening to kill himself? hell, even Snape's suspicion of other people are all the result of the trauma he experienced as a child
