“People always complain about Anna S.’s jumps, but I honestly find them breathtaking in real time, and so does the casual viewer. You can’t see the prerotation/unclear edge without slow-mo., and judges only watch in real time for takeoffs, so is it really so surprising that she’s not always called for stuff. She has a performance quality that always makes me excited to watch her. That’s what I care about in a skater. As long as they’re not flutzing in real time, I’m fine with less than perfect jumps.”

“Anna gets so much hate for her jumps, so i'm just gonna say one good thing about them: I have never seen this girl off-axis or loose in the air ONCE. Not even on her worst attempts. Yeah, we know about her takeoff technique but if she's got one thing going for her, it's air position.”

Hey, do you know when the Steven Universe marathon starts?

The marathon will run from August 31-Sep 2. I assume it'll start after the adult swim block, and it will end when the movie starts at 6, which is then followed by the making of documentary
