Working on my air quality sensor project again. This thing has a PM1.0 and PM2.5 sensor as well a temperature and humidity sensor in it, and uses an ESP8266 to push the sensor data to a time series database. The big fan is there to make sure we got enough airflow in the case for the PM sensor to take note. Probably way to big but it runs at only 3V (it's spec'd at 12V), so it's fairly quiet. Currently got this baby sitting on my kitchen counter to see how it works and how stable the firmware is. I'll also compare it to another sensor, for which I'm building another board (more on that later). I'm planning to sell these as a kit on tindie eventually, and if you're interested in getting one early to test them, let me know. They were intended to be used outside but having this thing in the apparat meant for a few days was quite interesting, so I'll probably make an indoor version as well.
