MILSO support
Not many people understand the crazy, stressful, beautiful, and amazing relationships we have with our military SOs. I don’t have anyone that understands it so if anyone wants to talk, or just have someone who understands what it’s like message me or if you have Snapchat add me and we can make a MILSO chat
My Snapchat is jesspeb
The day after he leaves for deployment so you lay in bed alone, sad and missing him
So today is my birthday, and J is in the field on a 3-week training exercise without his phone. The separation is hard enough, and I was really not looking forward to spending all of today just thinking about how much I miss him, and how badly it sucks not even being able to talk to him.
But let me tell you about my incredible little sister.
A week before he left, my sister texted J and had him record a birthday video that she could show me today. I broke down into a puddle of tears, but it meant SO MUCH just being able to hear “Happy Birthday” and “I Love You” from him today.
I don’t know how I would ever be able to make it through this milso journey without the support of my friends and family. They pick me up when the distance, the stress, the worry, all start to drag me down.
So if any of you out there need somebody to talk to, to connect with, please don’t be afraid to reach out—it’s so important to find others who understand exactly what you’re going through, to know that YOU’RE NOT ALONE. My inbox is always open :)

It’s Monday!!
It’s been a crazy week of traveling and seeing family, so i apologize for being inactive 😬
I worked all last week up until Wednesday, and then Thursday morning i flew to Chicago to see my dad, stepmom, and little brother for Father’s Day Weekend. After getting there and getting my nails done (much needed), we drove to their lake house and spent the weekend there. I got a nice tan and a break from work, so I’m a happy girl!
After hours and hours of flight delays, i finally made it home at 2AM this morning and i have work at 10AM so I’m extremely tired and trying to caffeinate with as much coffee as possible.
There’s a possibility that I’ll get to see my Airman this weekend, and that’s truly the light at the end of tunnel for me. Work has been crazy busy and stressful and he honestly makes me feel so much better about life as a whole.
Have a good week you guys, stay positive and motivated!
All of the love,
SBK
Don’t give up. If you can’t seen each other in a while, don’t give up. If you haven’t heard from them in a while, don’t give up. If you meet them tomorrow, don’t give up. If you want to punch them in the face, don’t give up.
We are their light, and their hope. They want to press on and keep going because of us.
Don’t give up.
PIR 2-9-18 My baby is officially a sailor!!!! I’m so happy I got to share in his experience and happiness of graduating from basic training ❤️ The first chapter of our new life together is done! A new chapter is beginning. You’re at A school, and now you’re only 5.5 hours away from me! I can’t wait until you earn liberty and can see me on weekends! I love you so much! All of the sleepless nights, and all of the tears lead up to that moment at graduation. Spending time with you that day showed me you genuinely enjoy your decision, and I’m here to stand by you. When I saw you come in from the snow with your division, I was overwhelmed with joy and pride. I’m so proud to be your woman, and I’m proud to call you my man. I love you so much, and I’m so happy you’ve decided to embark on this journey and bring me along for the ride. It’ll be a tough journey for the both of us, but so worth it baby! HooYah!
Mmmhmmm!!!! None of it ever makes sense! Am I right ladies!?
