Old: (DOG she was hard to color at first i put her in grayscale multiple times. Anyways if her hair looks familiar, iykyk. I wanted to keep her a child actress but I knew I could NOT pass up the opportunity of making her an idol.)
Akari is 18-19, still deciding, but is the oldest of her idol group regardless. When she was younger, she always considered being an idol/TV star because of her mom's influence. And of course, being young, found it exciting when you get to be on stage and sing. She was a bit hesitant about it but it was one of the only times Akari and her mom could spend a lot of time together (through guiding her in various ways, i don't think they can actually spend time together whilst on screen because they're kind of in different departments) so she followed through with the idol thing.
She's seen the rest of the originals of her group graduate due to their age or whatever reason they can't explain. Akari, though, isn't ready to leave but she isn't sure why. All of her friends are out. Her mom also left the TV World. Maybe she is afraid of growing up. Despite the building pressure of the idol industry, she refuses to leave because she's never gotten this far.
The dread of coming out of the box she got sooooooooo used to forcing herself into just grows and grows. Fake it till you make it, i guess!!! Until she gets pulled into the game and it's a fucking whiplash. What do you mean I should disregard my schedule for a month are you crazy!!!
Anyways all of this lore was made up on the spot, I wasn't expecting it to get a bit crazy... But we have a catgirl in Session One no way guysss
