so a friend of mine previously had a donation goal set up to help her pay her phone bill for medical purposes (she has lupus, so the phones are essential for her)

but uh... today her house burned down. on top of everything else. thankfully her and her 7 year old daughter are alright, but they're pretty shaken cuz they lost everything. so any help with the recovery funds would be much appreciated (even if it's just sharing it!)

each panel is meant to be a separate AU for the characters! Rys's character Old Captain is on the left in panel 1, Peat's character Wayfarer is in the right in panel 1.

since the site's been down, i went to my 10-year stockpile of char refs to work on art fight attacks... only to find out later that the owner of this particular OC isn't participating this year 😭

still! i DMed it to them, and they enjoyed it, so it's a win!

friendly reminder regarding art fight:

if there's someone whose character you want to draw but you didn't dave the refs and the webloc in time before the site went down, it's ok to write to the person off-site and ask for a ref. you're not "ruining the surprise", and you're not "getting their hopes up" if you wind up not drawing that character this year.

character refs are like a business card; giving the ref to someone doesn't guarantee they'll be drawn, but if they want to get ahold of that character, they have the means to do it

have zero expectations if asked, but just ask for refs. i promise you won't be bothering me, and most people will be happy to oblige. 💖
