The plan was similar to what she'd done before: 'bring a thing to someone, leave it outside, and run.' Except this time she wasn't planning on running. Of course there was still the (highly likely) possibility that one of Aisha's housemates would open the door instead, but if Jasmine decided to overthink that for a min' she probably would bolt.
She rang the bell. All she could do now was wait.

"Thank God for snow tires," Jason half mumbled as he sat at one of the small tables by the windows of the old, retro gas station, watching the snow fall outside. It had seemed like a good idea to head out to the coast to fill up his tank, having a shift later that afternoon into the evening to help out with the park, but... now, he kind of wished he had spent the time at home, on the couch, with a warm blanket on. He glanced up as he saw someone else near the windows, letting out a laugh. "I don't recommend going back out there. The radar shows there's a little break coming in about half an hour, if you're not in too much of a rush?"
