It's @my-job-is-a-series-of-sidequests ' birthday... so he got flowers at work, pizza for dinner, and a German Chocolate Pie (recipe in source link) for dessert.

Spouse lost the covid lottery, finally (vaxxed & boosted, but works in a health care facility).

The kids appear to have dodged the bullet again, as they & I quick tested negative (we'll test again tomorrow).

Scott's isolated on the murphy bed in the office this time. He is not asymptomatic, as I was, & is absolutely miserable.

But the kids & I made our buttermilk coffee cake, & had fresh blueberries to add to it. It smells divine. The three of us are going to have a tea party picnic, this afternoon.

Asking for positive vibes/energy/thoughts/juju/etc.

Spouse is waiting to hear back on a potential job that would allow me to stay at home and focus more energy on my health. Him having something to focus on, other than the kids, would probably help his mental health too.

The HR person warned him that they were going on vacation after his FOUR interviews and would be back today so we’re really really hoping to hear positive new today or tomorrow.

Out of nowhere, my spouse just suggested that one of D&D games needs a Helms Depot.

Not so good news, spouse did not get the job. They're postponing hiring for the position (it's a new one).

But... they are interviewing him again, for a different one, so still thinking positive.

Also....

Holy moly! I did it!

I have 100 words for all 28 Fluffuary Prompts, plus a bonus 100 for day 28**!

I just, accidentally, called Solas "Scott," to Scott's face.

The pause before he started teasing me about it — 😂🤣😂🤣😂. Though it's totally common for people to mix up the names of loved ones — really; switching kids' names, calling pets by kids' names or vice versa, etc. This was still a first. 😂🤣😂🤣😂💝

My spouse glanced over at me and apparently did a double take, asking, "Are you doing a CAPTCHA with Solas?!?"

After blinking a couple of times, I snorted. Then he remembered me customizing my keyboard when my replacement tablet came.

Scott (to one of the kiddos): Nine seasons is a lot.

Me: *confoozled* Nine seasons is only two & a quarter years?

Scott: 😐

Me: 🤔

Scott: Nine seasons of a TV show.

Me: 😐 *tea kettle wheezes* *snorts* 😂🤣
