Amphibian in the Void [#AitV]
Beyond being home to my main OCs, Amphibian is my passion project that I hope to one day publish as a series of graphic novels (a man can dream). It follows a band of 4 young adults trying to navigate the world on their own and find family amongst the chaos. It's primarily set in London but the story moves all across the UK (and briefly Brasil). I won't name all of the characters here as there are so many, so for now it'l just be the main 4 and any others that I add later on.

Commedia Dell'Arte queer + semi modernised retelling (unnamed) [#commedia dell'arte but queer]
This is also a passion project that I hope to formally share, this time as a stop motion series. It's what it says on the tin - a rewrite of some of the original characters of the commedia dell'arte to tell a new story of the world faced by queer people (and other minorities). Arguably the most academic thing I've ever put a respectable amount of effort into. My special interest in clowns and comedy really coming into clutch here.
Bear in mind that the world they exist in is a very abstract one, and their struggles are shown more through the comedy and subtext than the actual experiences of the characters. Also not all the characters are actually queer, ignore what the tags tell you lol.

Freak Show at Five [#FSaF]
This is a very new concept so I don't actually have any characters to show for it yet but I'm gonna put this here anyway in advance. It's basically a circus that travels around Europe in a made up time semi inspired by the late 1800s to early 1900s. It takes place in a world with various folklore and fantasy creatures and beings. The circus is run by a queer vampire and is a safe space/found family for all the other members who are either queer, folklore beings or both. The idea is that they're all "freaks" in one way or another and therefore shunned by society.

Standalones
Darius [#Darius]
A young (ish) vampire disowned by her family for being queer and not living up to their expectations of her. He's married to @ushankaushanka's Gilbert, a very southern and pretty Catholic man (who later gets turned by Dari's dad). Darius was born to vampire parents and was turned almost upon birth (a common occurence for vampire families in this world) and his dad is one of the few vampires capable of turning people.
Her story mostly takes place in modern America and is full of angst and Catholic guilt. She's also inspired by jesters cuz I have an addiction.
she/he (no preference)
bigender/unlabelled
100-ish years old (may change)
Romanian
into guys (her attraction is unlabelled)
uses a cane (vampires in this world have chronic symptoms similar to low blood pressure)
Lili "Lia" Allette [#Lia]
A somewhat ancient OC these days, Lia is very different to my current style of OC. Her story goes as follows:
A girl on earth died and something went wrong in the transferring of her mind to to the realm where all souls/minds go to rest. Her mind got stuck in a realm of it's own and began exapanding and filling in all the gaps (it serves mentioning that she is no longer coherent or aware and this is all the work of her subconscious). Eventually that subconcious creates a girl - Lia. It also created a lot of fireflies. It is unclear how much time has passed since the original girl died, but Lia has no knowledge nor memory of her. Lia and her fireflies live out their days in a large cardboard box until the point that Lia goes mad from the isolation and lack of logic and stabs herself.
she/her/kit
genderqueer girl
her age is inconsistent but typically ranges from 15 to 18
has an Californian-ish accent but obviously no actual nationality
isn't aware other people are a thing that could exist = no attraction (would be ace lesbian)
artfight
Kesa [#Kesa]
Kesa is like the other side of Lia's coin. Her creation is of a very similar origin, although she has vague memories of the individual she was born of. Kesa was the imaginary friend of the person, and so was around in part before the person's death. As an imaginary friend he was created to be super smart, but the vessel didn't have the intelligence to match that or bring it to life. Now in "death", Kesa is stuck grasping onto strings trying to piece together the knowledge he once "had" but is unable to create anything of substance. Kind of cosmic horror esque.
I don't have DID nor do I claim to, but that being said she's also sort of a headmate for me. I originally created her as a sort of internal imaginary friend when I was 12 and since then she's basically morphed into her own seperate consciousness.
she/her/he
