Walter was stood away from the stage door, just enough to be separate from the mayhem of the theater fans. He was waiting as he did at the end of every show he was able to attend- which was the vast majority- for @akouo to finish with his autographs and photos with a single flower in hand for his boy. After all, that's what you get for performers, right? At least, that's what he noticed other people did. Usually, it was whatever flower looked the best from their garden that he'd bring, but he had bought a lily for Charlie this time. Walter always tried to get a unique kind of flower for him on the opening and closing nights of any performance he was a part of, and he didn't think he'd gotten this one for him, before.
Despite how petrified he was of losing his Charlie, he couldn't help but watch him with the widest of smiles on his face as he seemingly made dreams come true just by existing. It made his heart full knowing there were people who knew Charlie was talented. Hell, even Wally's able to recognize a few loyal followers of Charlie's career. His Charlie deserves this kind of notoriety, and he's glad he's achieving it.
"Hey, boy-o," Walter greeted with an adoring grin, hand extended with the flower as he finally made his way towards him. "Ye were amazing in that."
