Making up mando deities per planet pt. 1
Akaan's Deities
Their Triad is composed by three deities that take the form of types of Trees: the Red one, the White one, and the Blue one.
The Red Tree, also known as the Ruug’buir (the Old Parent) or the An’haa'tayli (the All Seeing):
A Tree whose trunk is of a dark gray, almost black, and that has no leaves, instead for most of the year it has bright red flowers, whose inside looks like an open eye. They are not so common across the planet.
It’s said that in each one of these Trees resides the Red Deity, who observes and protects its children from evil and death.
Tradition wants that every bad act that happens near a Red Tree will be swiftly punished by the deity itself.
Its branch and flowers are used as a aliik by House Vizsla.
The White Tree, also known as the Kyr’adyc’ya (the Gone Friend) Ratiin’duhaala (the Always Sick)
A Tree with a dark trunk and pure white flowers, who never open and always remain close. This tree is very rare on the planet.
It’s said that in each closed flower resides a part of the soul of those who have passed away, and that to forcefully open one of the flowers, or take away a branch, is going to bring bad luck to the entire clan.
The White Deity is the guardian of death and the souls of its children.
The Blue Tree, also known as the Briikase’vod (the Happy Sibling) or Jate’kar (the Good Star/Lucky one):
A Tree with a dark trunk and light blue flowers, that when hit by the light of the sun they shine like gemstones, or as stars. A more common tree compared to the other two.
The presence of this Tree makes all the plants around it stronger and more flourished, and this led to believe that its mere presence can lead to good fortune and a good life.
The Blue Deity residing in these Trees is a sweet and joyful sibling which might not always be in the mood of helping you every time, but the few times it does then it will be one of the best days of your life.
