Owl prince makup test. I'll be cosplaying Akaashi at Metrocon in FL.
@akaashiowl continued from an ask
“Way to jump to conclusions, Akaashi.” He snickered, clearly teasing. His expression soon turned serious as he looked to the second year. “So...how’s Bokuto been lately?”
Take Me Out to the Pet Store @akaashiowl
Suga was practically vibrating with excitement as they drove to the pet store. New year, new apartment, and now a new pet! Growing up, Suga never even had a goldfish, thanks to his dad’s awful allergies, so he’d always dreamed of having a home completely filled to the brim with animals. When he and Akaashi first decided they’d be moving in together, it was the first thought on his mind.
“If we get a dog I was thinking something big like a Malamute or a German Shepard, but if we get a cat probably a Scottish Fold or a really cute Calico.” Clearly his heart was bigger than his apartment, because even a small dog would have a hard time living there. “And we can always go to another pet store if they don’t have something here, there are plenty around.” God he was excited! Suga didn’t think he could stop smiling if he tried.
@akaashiowl
It was a shame that there was only one Quidditch field for the entire school. For Bokuto, that simply wasn’t enough! Right now, those damn Slytherins had booked the field and after they were finished, he still couldn’t go out to practice because then it was the Hufflepuffs’ turn. Why couldn’t there just be four fields? With that, everyone could practice anytime they wanted. Or in Bokuto’s case: Everytime.
Giving in to that somewhat cruel fate of probably not being able to practice Quidditch for a whole day. He thought about what he could do now. There were several options. Bokuto had, as always, a lot of homework to do (actually lots of it even for the next day) so he could probably use his time for something sensible. He could also meet with the other team members to talk about strategic stuff, even though he often tended to fall asleep during team meetings.
Instead, he decided to meet up with some friends. In order to do that, Bokuto made his way to his favourite spot at Hogwarts: the owlery. “How’s it going?” he greeted the owls in his native language, heading towards his usual spot, which was a haystack next to one of the windows. A very comfortable haystack, that was! At least Bokuto liked to sit there a lot, especially since it was next to the pole where some of his families’ breeds’ owls usually sat.
With a tragic sounding sigh he sat down, starting to explain his sorrow to the owls - in fluent Japanese, of course. “Oh man, I really wanted to practice today! You know that, when you have that really cool move in mind and you really wanna try it out but then you can’t because some Slytherins won’t let you use the Quidditch field again?” If the owls disagreed with him, they hid it well, so Bokuto happily (or more like unhappily, it was sometimes hard to tell) kept on moaning about his horrible situation.
@akaashiowl
It wasn't exactly the first time in his life Bokuto had been sick or home alone, but probably the first time for both of it to happen at the same time. His parents were, once again, off to a weekend in Kyoto, enjoying their few time that was not disturbed by work or by their from time to time very exhausting son. This time, it was probably a good thing for them, given that Bokuto was even more stressful when he felt the slightest indication for a cold creeping up on him. He was a sufferer. And not just the kind of ordinary sufferer who moaned a lot about his headaches and got on about no one in the hole world felt as bad as him, no. He was convinced he was going to die.
All that probably wouldn't be as bad if he was clever enough just to take some meds and go back to bed. In moments like that, he had no idea what to do. Normally, when he felt bad or something had happened to him, he could rely on someone helping him up on his feet again, wether it was his parents or his teammates. But now, he was alone in the empty flat, pacing back and forth in anguish, musing about what he could do in order not to die. Suddenly, he got the idea. Or more specific, he got the idea who probably had an idea. Without hesistating, he put on his jacket and shoes (at least he was able to do that, which was something), he left the large apartment building to go to Akaashi's.
Feverish, coughing and sniffing, he took the Metro for a few stations and didn't even notice how the people around him avoided him in fear to get infected with his so obvious sickness. After a few minutes from the station, Bokuto had dragged himself up to Akaashi's house. He found it easily, since he had been there so often before. With his last bit of strenght (or so it felt), he knocked on the front door (he kinda forgot that he could just have rung the bell). Bokuto had to support himself against the wall, the journey had worn him out and he felt even more feverish than before. Still, he was able to put on his dying face extraordinarily well.
"Enlightened Volleyball Boys"/maybe I'll draw more? Anyways, enjoy some Akaashi. He looks so beautiful all the time it drives me crazy. I also have no clue what I'm doing but at least I'm having fun :'D You can find me on IG (jlciani.art) <3

Koutaro thought he’d have to do much more explaining, it was a surprise when Akaashi pulled up the blankets for him. He nodded, pulling his shoes off and slipping off his jacket. He set them down on the second year’s desk, he always tried to avoid making a mess in Keiji’s room because he assumed it was hard to keep it organized. He was particular about how things were set up in his room, but it was far more cluttered then his friends. He crawled into the bed, shifting a lot before Akaashi wrapped an arm around his shoulders. He sighed contently, of course Keiji knew how to settle his nerves. He didn’t hesitate to wrap his arms around the smaller frame, pressing a little closer to him.
He kept his eyes open as they laid in silence, doing his bedst not to move so much. It was hard for him not to fidget when he was distraught, not blurting out what his parents had been saying was hard as it was. He couldn’t. He didn’t want to upset Keiji and pull him into this confusion. He pressed his face against Akaashi’s fluffy locks as a distraction, he could never understand how someone could smell so good all the time. He pinned this on why he always wanted to be close to him.

"You did! I mean, your arms a lot more tone now. And you don't look like I could push you over with one little shove."
Koutaro grinned, he was only messing with his friend and he was sure the other understood this. He raised his eyebrows when Akaashi stared at him from the mirror, noticing how he ignored his little comment and chuckling. He didn't really blame Akaashi for finding his jokes to be a little too silly sometimes.
"Hmm? Sure, if that's what you'd like. Hey! You could work out with me, that'd be fun! I go to the gym near my house, so it's not too far."
