I forgot Kokushibo I'm so sorry
been having evil femkaza x shinobu thoughts. au rambles under the cut
imagine an au where kaza meets shinobu and GOD she hates her. hates her and her fake smile and her poison but she CANT hurt her. and she's so small and petite and the way she smells of someone sick. someone slowly dying. someone slowly dying of poison. it's all so familiar and it's messing with her head. she hates this woman she Hates her but. she wants to be near her. to get the poison OUT. to help her. and she can't stay away. and shinobu is entirely unimpressed by the upper moon who isn't even the one she WANTS to find suddenly stalking her and glaring at her sword and snarling and scoffing at her but also looking at her with kicked puppy dog eyes. but. she doesn't seem to wish her harm. only to be near her. what a fantastic opportunity to test her poisons. and as shinobus poisons get stronger and stronger they start,,,, messing with akazas head. it hurts in a way nothing else has. not her masters torture not the slicing of a nichirn sword- it hurts her HEAD. she knows shes forgetting something when the poison runs through her veins. she can almost reach out to grab it when it reaches her brain. grab the petite girl she couldn't save from the poison. and shinobu has to deal with the demon hugging her to her chest suddenly and CRYING and the poison isn't THAT bad why is she CRYING on her. and she's whimpering out barley remembered names and shinobu is NOT this koyuki let GO of her. and Akaza just holds her tighter and whimpers and- the ink in her eyes is. fuzzing? and shinobus fought lower kizuki. but. never has she seen this. how fascinating. and the poison fades and akaza. doesn't let go. until shinobu starts kicking. hard. and then she puts her down. slowly, gently, like shes something precious. and then she runs off. and when she comes back she's apologizing and asking shinobu to inject her again PLEASE she needs to see her again pleasepleaseplease and shinobu. can use this. a demon willing to be injected by her poisons? a kizuki nonetheless? this is more than she could've dreamed of. and i imagine eventually akaza breaks the curse on accident and is clinging to shinobu and crying and shinobu is smiling and hushing her, and saying you know what you could do? to make amends for all the horror you've wrought? and proposes her torture scheme and akaza. agrees. because this girl helped her. this girl who looks so much like her lost love wants her for something. and she deserves it doesn't she? and that's how shinobu gets herself a pet demon to poison and torture.
basically akaza misses her dead wife and is projecting that onto shinobu and shinobu gets a pet guinea pig to Possess and Keep all to herself who she slowly is growing attached to.
Beneath the Stars
For @echantedtoon
Akaza landed softly on the top of the hill, and they both faced the town. The light faded slightly, indicating it was almost time. The two people watched as the lights faded away. They could have stood there in complete silence if it weren’t for Shinobu softly cutting through the quiet. “The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?”
Akaza couldn’t help but appreciate the warmth pooling in his chest. She said that once long ago. That time it was actually referring to the moon. While it may be referring to the radiating moon on the horizon, Akaza knew its real meaning this time.
He loved her too.
Akaza looked ahead and responded with a warm smile. “It really is…”
Shinobu took Akaza’s hand into her own, and they merely stood there. Two individuals that had fate treat them most unfairly. They had both been horrifically abused by the same demon. One could never break free. And while the other could have freedom, she had lost her dear sister to the monster. One was a demon that considered himself too weak. The other was a Hashira that was too small to fight properly without the need for tricks or poison.
Yet here they were, standing there underneath a crystal clear night sky.
Fate worked in mysterious ways, didn’t it?
The AkaShino brainworms have been eating at me again
Also while not the exact scene I am quoting its close enough!
I might make a proper piece for a Blight of Wisteria and Fireworks scene soon!
*steps up to the microphone*
Might I interest you all with Akaza x Shinobu?
Today’s #matchachawan is an #akashino #kintsugi piece by #mitsufumimotomura of #gesshingama . I just love the textures and contrast on this one... strong, bold, powerful. Today’s #matcha is from @breakawaymatcha . Anyone else getting more into this lately too? #kintsugiart #minoyaki #shino #yakimono #anagama #noborigama @gallery_kochi https://www.instagram.com/p/B_jL3VmA7c4/?igshid=15yow5a8z0fci
Thanks to my good friend @chef_jasonhanin I’ve been back on a #matcha kick the last couple of weeks. It’s a great opportunity for me to make use of the #gesshingama #matchachawan that we have at home and at work. I’ll try to post some on here. This is an #akashino #tsutsuchawan ... matcha from @breakawaymatcha #blend94 (at Japanese Knife Imports) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_L9gflgnkh/?igshid=biq51cn3t9vd
