AKC needs to step up

I'm not going to judge people on their decision to crop or dock but the natural fucking form of that dog breed should be able to participate in conformation without having points docked or being disqualified

I know that there will always be biased judges but at least let them fucking participate

Getting ready to go to the Perry show this weekend and I’m STRESSED. 7 hour drive with 2 dogs (Orlando was a good practice for that at least and they did great), possible scheduling conflict already detected, and the biggest show I’ve ever been to. We’re going for the AHT specialty mostly and there are 22 entered!

The rally schedule starts at 10:50 on Friday, there are 151 dogs entered, and Kaiju is last on the schedule. One judge and one ring. Furby is scheduled for conformation at 2:30 and I’m so nervous about them overlapping. Not to mention they still haven’t released the CAT course schedule 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

Did some evaluation shots of the three dogs this past week just for fun. Quite a bit to break down on each dog, and not the best shots of Rowan or Sadie.

Fiona has quite good bone and structure. She has a good bit of angulation to her rear legs, and decent chest. Her coloring is cute but we will see how it changes when she gets older.

Rowan didn't want to play on the table that day so his neck and back legs are off balance. He's grown up so much!

Sadie is a structure nightmare- straight knees, no forechest, straight upper arm, etc but I'd be lying if I said she was anything but the best.

Rowan was Best of Breed, Best of Breed Owner Handled, and Owner Handled Hound Group 4th today, so we celebrated with a swim!
