A Facebook group I follow has a bunch of people sharing the ribbons they earned this year with their dogs. I definitely didn’t think we had this many and it makes me feel a little better about our journey.

My personal favorite is his B match Best Adult in Show! Not the flashiest but that was a major highlight of that weekend! I wasn’t able to find a few of them but his grand total is 68 ribbons 🏆

Dog show photo dump

Kaiju placed first in both of his Rally Novice A tests.

Furby had some good FastCAT runs and placed Ownger-handled BOB both days. I didn’t stay for groups the second day because I needed to get home.

Overall we’ve had a good time!

Furby was SO GOOD at the show today! He got Winners dog and earned his CGC! He even got to see his bestie, Ozzy.

Did some evaluation shots of the three dogs this past week just for fun. Quite a bit to break down on each dog, and not the best shots of Rowan or Sadie.

Fiona has quite good bone and structure. She has a good bit of angulation to her rear legs, and decent chest. Her coloring is cute but we will see how it changes when she gets older.

Rowan didn't want to play on the table that day so his neck and back legs are off balance. He's grown up so much!

Sadie is a structure nightmare- straight knees, no forechest, straight upper arm, etc but I'd be lying if I said she was anything but the best.

Bragging time! Rowan was the perfect dog this week. It was a lot to ask of him, to be away from our routines for a whole week, going to my grandmothers house and then on to Orlando. He worked the booth like a pro, only having a few moments of bad dog. He was an excellent draw to bring people over to learn about the organization.

He also went Reserve Winners Dog at the PBGVCA Independent Specialty on Friday under a well-respected breeder judge. I was overwhelmed when the judge pointed at us to win the Open class (and over a champion from Europe to boot!!). He showed beautifully and looked just like his dad (below).

I definitely cried when we were awarded Reserve. To have such a great dog to share my life with is an honor and today we shop to treat him to whatever he wants.
