shiro’s not overly secretive about all the things he’s experienced like if you ask him what’s happened to him he’ll just straight up be like oh yeah so i died and spent a couple of months in the inner consciousness of a robotic lion and then my best friend found me and my other best friend drained my soul out of the lion and brought me back to life in the dead body of my clone that an evil witch created and then sacrificed herself to save the universe what about u 

but like ........... it’s narrative. he’s just telling you what happened. he’s not telling you how it made him feel, how he is feeling, what it took out of him and what it’s made him become. he doesn’t know how to formulate a single thought or emotion about his past to even be able to describe it out loud. he just feels it. and stews in it. and the feeling accompanies him constantly without reprieve. his trauma and guilt and grief circulates him with every breath that it’s just a constant state of being. he can distract himself and he can still be in the moment and even be happy but he’s banking on time to heal him and if that proverb is a false promise then fukc 

anyway the thesis statement of this post was originally : shiro will use the fact that he died to get out of doing laundry
