💙🔥Bloom Redesign/ Reboot opinions :
Notes: Reboot Blooms new design feels really flat and yet busy? Guess that's what happens when Ai is in charge of the "creative process'

The pants don't add much of a silhouette, kinda WANTING to be flared jeans but just don't commit, and the random rip on the upper left leg is really weird? IF you're gonna give ripped jeans, they have to be somewhat cohesive, and the stars are dull and underwhelming. While magic is a huge theme in the show, I'd make sense to add more detail or make the stars POP with contrast against the pants material. AGAIN, the top is bland, and the mesh adds nothing? It feels like they would like to take up space instead of finding cohesive elements to the top, like sleeves, straps, or even jewlery!
Honestly her hair is fine, it's like the original and you can easily tell it's Bloom, the three way bangs and little cowlick hair is still a silly little detail that works.

I took a LOT of inspiration from the original and Pinterest boards of y2k outfits, but I feel like there's a hint of grunge to it? To add my changes I didn't think "How to make it more like the original" "What are key elements from the original that :
-Sticks with the Veiwer?
-Show Blooms personality?
-And stays cohesive and enough but not SO MUCH that it's an eye sore
-First of all, I took the colors from Blooms original color palette. The reboot seems ti make her mote of a pink and blue, but i always associated pink with Musa, and besides a female protagonist with BLUE is cool being how their usually pink for promotion 💙
-Bloom is a 16 year old girl, and while the original is AWESOME, u also saw how the reboot tried to make it more "appropriate " aka longer outfits and stuff but idk. I tried to keep it with the funky fashion but also pretty covered. I added stars because of her magic obsession and the winx wings on her shirt as like a sort of foreshadowing for the club. The test is for aesthetics, the choker, belt and headband with hair clips bc they fill space but also compliment (imo)

Winx was a fresh and cool show for fans to enjoy and rebooting RIGHT after it ended after what, 21 smth years? A story with a NEW group of faries would have been cool or stories based on all the other characters we've met during the seasons. IDK, I'm trying not to be "nostalgia blind."
In other words, we should just see what happens next. I'm not proud of Rainbow using mostly Ai in the production and promoting of this show, but at least there are other dedicated fans who know and understand the true magic of Winx.
