It’s the nickname I’ve had online since... Always. “Buddy” was my nickname as a kid and I thought “GameBuddy” sounded like a “GameBoy” knock-off.

Also, I totally forgot to tell you (feel free to publish this one publicly if you really want XD), while cleaning out my downloads folder for the first time in decades, I stumbled upon a series of MP3 files. Wondering what they were, I had a brief listen (I'll finish them later for sure) and... they were your "Sonic: The Last Battle" (or Robotnik's Revenge since that's its proper name) recordings from SonicAnime way back when Great nostalgia trip!

Oh, man. I still have those too. I need to figure out a place to permanently host them someday.
