it’d been easy to keep her distance from him. well, maybe not easy but she’d started figuring out his steps and how to keep herself just a bit ahead of him. she’d known for a couple of years that he was out there. had planned to track him down before...well...that happened. the ‘blip’. really threw a wrench into everything. but that’s neither here nor there at the moment. no, she’s trying to see if her brother is even still in there. if this man with his face is anything like the boy she’d said goodbye to so long ago. keeping an awareness of where she was, she carefully slips back to fade into the crowd before he can notice her.
