Here’s a piece of Pharaoh Aknamkanon from Yu-Gi-Oh! I drew this a while back for a different platform.
Hey, I’m Sıla a hobbyist artist.
I really wanted to start posting on tumblr, but quickly realized that most of my art consists of sketches. T-T
to my Yugioh fic.
this image shows how I guess Aknadin and Aknamkanon looked like as teen. I have to guess how Aknamkanon's hair looked like but I was very determined not to make it look like Atem because of a plotpoint I made with him.
Since you only see these two as old adults and the elderly, I have to guess the hair color on them, too. Aknadin has a darker version of Seto's hair, while I made Aknamkanon's hair darker because Atem has black hair, together with red. Atem got the black hair from his mother.
I draw Aknamkanon and Atem from Yu-Gi-Oh. Father's Day was on June 19th and this is a belated drawing I made for my Dad for Father's Day. Happy Belated Father's Day everybody. :) * Yu-Gi-Oh belongs to Kazuki Takahashi. :) * I only own the artwork. :) Speedpaint Available On My YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhtUwhwgVUo

Yugioctober Day 20: Memory
(Prompt list) (Read it here on Ao3!)
Summary: The Prince of Kemet remembers a gift he received from his father.
It was a bright, sunny day in the kingdom of Kemet. Palm trees and fragrant flowers swayed in the gentle breeze, framed by the clear, crystal blue sky that stretched for miles in all directions. The spring air was pleasantly warm, not too hot but not cool enough to need an extra shawl. Perfect conditions for a certain boy to play outside after he finished with his lessons.
The young Prince bounded out into the palace courtyard with two of his favorite dolls, one in each hand. He provided the narration and sound effects to the dolls’ adventures as he raced around the small pond in the center of the plaza. Currently, they were soaring over the Nile river battling with evil spirits, explosions everywhere! Boom, bang! There’s too many of them! Kapow! The doll in his right hand took a nasty dive into the dirt with a dramatic wail.
The Prince was distracted from the action scene playing out in his mind by a voice calling him from inside, and an older man stepped out into the sunlight. As soon as the Prince saw him, his heart overflowed with joy. He sprinted towards the man, beaming from ear to ear.
“Father!”
I found a cool in-progress fic about Atem having to navigate a political situation shortly after taking the throne. Thief King Bakura attacked almost immediately in canon so it’s neat to see Atem having to govern for a bit!

Atem has not been long on the throne, but he's struggling to make the same strong impression as his father. When a challenge pops up out of the woodwork, can he overcome his doubts and become the ruler his other priests believe in?
I had a really cool dream where there was a sort of virtual roleplaying system where you could enter the various stories of Yu-Gi-Oh and interact with them as your own characters, trying for good outcomes (or messing things up XD). My group picked the Ancient Egypt arc, which had been simplified a bit for time--Aknamkanon was still alive and the main goal was to convince him of Aknadin’s treachery, defeat Aknadin/the Shadow Magus, and help Yugi defeat Zorc. We were JUST at the last of those when I woke up :( I guess Horakhty was too cool to see in a dream... It was pretty neat though, I remember we found a letter to Aknadin that was clueless about what was going on. Something like ‘Here’s the army you requested; I hope it serves you well and may even stop the tide of misfortune plaguing our land.’ He was not happy when our group revealed the truth, especially when told Aknadin might go after Yugi.
