Kaworu creeps out into the courtyard with hesitation sewn into every step. It's odd being nervous at the thought of time with KT, but that's the feeling that's overtaken him lately, to the extent that Kaworu's been waiting just outside the courtyard door for nearly half of the lunch period already.
He doesn't really care if they get back late. He's not that dedicated of a student. Kaworu sucks in a deep breath and steps around the tree, putting his best effort into a lopsided smile. "Ready to go?"
"Do you trust me?"
It is such an odd question, and yet not. Not odd to hear it - she does not trust people readily, after all, and it shows - but odd to hear it from him. The reciprocal question is there: why is he asking her this now? She does not voice it. "...More than I trust anyone else in this place," she answers.
Oh Shit
She always waits until everyone else was in their next class before using the school's changing rooms. She is not body shy in the "traditional" sense, but the idea of people looking at her, seeing the marks on her skin from years past that still feel seared into her very soul some days just... no. She will wear the track pants and the long-sleeved athletic shirt the extra fifteen minutes and then change.
And so it is that her gym shirt is already off and shoved into her bag and her pants are almost to her knees when the door opens without warning. She freezes, the automatic response to being startled, and not for the first time wishes that she could train herself into having a different response as a familiar voice whispers "oh, shit" into the otherwise empty room. She whimpers, a faint keen half caught in her throat, and dives for the floor too late to really hide beneath the bench.

Kim Jong Il's official biography listed, among his achievements, a 38 shot round of golf, ability to control weather, he never needed to poop, and was credited with inventing the hamburger.
"Fascinating," Rei said dryly. "Nice to know that the propensity for powerful people attempting to rewrite their personal reality isn't a new thing."
In 1927 several million people in the United States sent over 100,000 petitions urging Congress to adopt the metric system.
"Well, obviously, it is the superior system of measurement, after all!" Asuka paused, frowning. "...Who are you, anyway?"
