Like LOOK at that!!11! Alastor is so bothered by the fact that Vox is reliant on others, but he himself is doing the complete fucking same. If a deal with Charlie did not have his back, BRO WOULD BE AN INGREDIENT FOR THE RAGU (COOKED).

“You would be nothing without them” — when Alastor needs Charlie’s hand to do shit. Yeah, he guides her hand. But what would he guide if there was no hand of Charlie’s? Do you know what I mean?

I can sit there all day and talk about how he is trying to play the “self-aware” card, like he is trying hard to cover his misery with “if I joke about it I am not miserable anymore guys look look I am goofeeng around with it,” but really he is even more scared than Vox. He is choking on his own spit seeing… himself in Vox.

And in the end, he is so VERY much sure he is no more reliant. When there just KOULD BE JUST MAYBE something in “this ridiculous thing Charlie is doing” that is more powerful than any deal, any power, anything he could otherwise get out of it… that made him stay anyway
