I don't really like how Mozenrath turned out here, but I really like how my version of his mamluks looks! In fact, this art was drawn specifically because of these guys. I don't like that these zombies in the series are the same in appearance, so that's why I made my version. Honestly, I even felt sad while I was drawing them because I was thinking about how these guys hardly deserved to be turned into monsters. They were probably just guards/soldiers who were just doing their jobs until Mozenrath wanted to turn them into mamluks. They must be deeply unhappy and suffering every day😔

Fun Fact about the Aladdin series

Alright - so you all know how I have music producer-brain, right?

The Episode "Witch way did she go?" (Sadira's final appearance) is one of the few in the series that got original background composed for it.

The reason for this is likely a gag near the end of the Episode, where Genie creates a huge orchestra and plays classical music. That's a scene that you couldn't really do as well with only the music you hava avalible, so the producers likely thought: "Well, we got Mark Watters in here already, so we might as well have him compose music for the rest of the episode".

The funny thing is that the music that plays when the Witches introduce themselves to Sadira became one of the most re-used tracks in the entire series. It is often used for other evil magic type-characters like Mozenrath or Ayam Aghoul, but especially Mirage. In fact, it plays in almost every single scene Mirage appears in, despite not even being originally composed for her. One particularily clever use is in the episode "Shadow of a Doubt", where it was used for the Sultanah to foreshadow a twist that she was actually Mirage in disguise.

So, in a way, a forgettable one-off gag about the Genie making music with an orchestra indirectly led to one of the most recurring villains having her own theme music.
