aladdin 2019 review

just got back from seeing aladdin 2019, and in my honest humble opinion we really gave will smith too much shit for being the genie because he really did a fantastic job and so did the rest of the actors, it was very refreshing

The culture accuracy was amazing, so was the cgi and singing. The carpet was stunning, and I’m sure thankful that they didn’t turn jafar into a huge cgi cobra snake because that would’ve been fucking terrifying and have given everybody in the theater nightmares

Overall a solid B+ and an A for effort on Disney’s part in the live-action remake era
