Spicks & Specks (2022)[x]
The new Pictionary challenge. :)
Highlight:
[Phil starts drawing butterfly wings]
Joe: A flower.
Myf: Butterfly...cocoon!
[Phil draws a stick figure with a skirt]
Joe: A girl. Flower girl. No, flower...
[Phil draws another similar figure at the top bit of the paper]
Myf: What's going on up there? There's some kind of angel.
Adam: You were right with butterfly. Butterfly's right.
[Myf throws her hands up]
Myf: Butterfly girl? I don't know.
Joe: No, um...
[Myf shakes her head]
Phil: Wait, I'll do it in binary.
[He starts writing ones and zeros. Adam starts laughing then the rest of the audience follows]
Phil: Come on, come on!
[Myf and Joe start cracking up]
[Undaunted, Phil keeps going...one, one zero...one, zero...one....]
Phil: Come on! You can do this!
Myf: We're gonna pass.
Daryl Cotton....well done on the storytelling!
Highlights:
Daryl: My girlfriend at the time was a dress designer and she made clothes for people like KC & The Sunshine Band...and Rod Stewart. I've actually been in Rod Stewart's pants. Dave: Ooh! [Daryl turns to Dave] Daryl: We had very similar, in those days, body shapes. He was probbaly a little bit longer in the leg than me, but... [While the panel and the audience laughs...Daryl turns to Adam] Daryl: But, anyway...so before he got his clothes, I used to be the fitting model. Dave: The stunt double? [Daryl turns to Dave] Daryl: Exactly. [Daryl turns to Adam] Daryl: And if they worked...if they fitted me...they were okay to go over to Rod's place. So I have been in all his pants before him.
-----
Adam: In what year did ABC TV's 'Rage' first go to air? [After the panel 'ooohs' and Rich buzzes in] Rich: 1995 Adam: It was '87 Rich: What's 'Rage'? [Laughter from everyone on the panel]
