It had been too long since I paid much attention to the swimsuit department. I was content with my basic black and a green swimsuit, and thought that was all I needed. Through my world wide web search I came across Alas Olas, a swimwear boutique in Playa del Carmen, México. My first impression of the brand is the fun patterns, color combinations and design, which I liked. I am a sucker for swimsuits, but always seemed to go for the classic colors. What Alas Olas has to offer is more unique and whimsical, and I thought why not try something more colorful. The fit and the quality of the swimsuit were perfect. More amazingly, you can make your own swimsuits and bikinis as they have a customizable option. Just pick your fabric and the style, let them know your measurements, process payment and wait for it in the mail. The swimsuit I chose was from a style I came across in Alas Olas Instagram.
Alas Olas describe themselves as lovers of the ocean, the beach life, the sun and sunbathing in Mexico’s Caribbean. Since 2008, that love is transmitted through their swimwear and am happy to have discovered them.
