Today is #NativeAmericanHeritageDay, and we want to celebrate the history, tradition, and values of American Indians and Alaska Natives and recognize the struggles and challenges they have faced. 

We want to thank American Indians and Alaska Natives for their contributions and achievements to the ocean, maritime traditions, and sanctuary communities.

Every year, members of the Chumash community undertake a traditional tomol journey to their homeland in Limuw, now also known as Santa Cruz Island. Traveling through NOAA Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. "Paddling in, there's no other homecoming like that," says paddler Eva Pagaling. I’m gonna post this here because I’m not brave yet to post on my other social media account about my personal experience with the police and even the state back at my home state, Alaska.

Long story short my biological father is a pedophile. With a very long history of abuse which unfortunately includes me and some family members. Soooooo there was this HUGE investigation on him since there was enough evidence. I even went in to give them my story.

And guess what happened?

Fucking nothing.

With all the evidence they had they completely just dropped it.

I still don’t understand why. They never told my family why.

So yeah defund the police
