Another collaboration with @leading_edge_promo, this time for Orange Shirt Day 2022, which is also the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. I chose to illustrate a cub paw within an adult bear paw as if they are holding hands. This symbolizes protection, support, and love. This year a portion of the proceeds will be donated to @nctr_um. Think about what it means to be wearing orange on this day and remember that Truth and Reconciliation isn't just for one day, it's every day. Here is a progress video of my "Orcinus Orca" painting that I finished up / was on display during the @vinesfestival. It's now available for purchase! The painting is 6.5' x 4' and can be on display inside or outside. I will be donating a portion of the proceeds to both the @bemorrsociety and @pacificwild! This past Monday the Vines Art Festival had their re-opening ceremony and I had the honour of being a part of it! I spent the evening putting my finishing touches on this outdoor orca painting. It was a beautiful evening full of stories, performances, music and art. And the festival is still going, go check out their Instagram to see what park they will be at next!
