I love how blasé Lucifer is. I love how he's existed long enough to simply not care enough about how he must look to others. He's powerful and ancient enough to disregard a lot of social rules. Lucifer is at that point where no fucks have to be given.
But then Alastor appears and although he gives no fucks and walks around the place without caring for appearances, he becomes completely ruffled by Alastor's presence. In exchange, Alastor, who usually keeps his discomfort to himself, openly displays it in the pettiest of ways. It's not a show of power for either of them, but personhood: they hate each other's guts PERSONALLY.
I like the idea that they can annoy each other enough to care about it. To be straight up silly. To run past the point of dangerous power plays straight to petty playtime. They're so different and so similar. I can't wait to have more silly interactions just to laugh at them.
