You don’t have to let that specific person in. You can always accept new people. You don’t have to go back to something just because its familiar and comfortable, if it means you’ll be treated poorly and miserable.
i guess its hard to explain
but i’ve tried for a long time to let anyone in, lots of people, from different groups and backgrounds and personalities, and none of these people have rly connected or stuck around
i rly want to let people in but. idk. i guess im just a dumb kid.

Me too. I can completely relate. Thats why i refuse to look in the mirror often and for long because i start to get really fucking confused and scared
To the anon with the boyfriend that lost its spark, that is completely normal. Most relationships lose the passion/lust after a couple years, but the love becomes more of a companionship. It's hard to get used to this new feeling though. But be warned that moving on to a new boy will yes be exciting for a little bit, but almost all relationships reach this stage at one point. If you still see a future with him, stay. Btw- its called the triangular theory of love! i hope everything works out. xx
theres a difference between losing the spark and being unhappy though. Of course you can’t expect love to be a walk in the park with all sunshine and rainbows every day of the year but still. If you feel someone is holding you back and preventing you from doing the things you want you should consider if that relationship is a healthy one. Relationships are hard, and its different for everyone. trust your instincts!
