Our history: Composer of music for ‘Grinch’ went to CCM after escaping Nazi Germany

Albert Hague won over Dr. Seuss to compose the music for the 1966 TV special "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"

One of my favorite shows when I was a teen was Fame and I remember realizing that the actor who played Prof. Shorofsky actually composed the music for the original Grinch cartoon.

Anywho I was watching The Grinch with my nephew last night and was reminded of this when I saw his name in the credits and did a quick lookup and found this article.

So thank you Mr. Hague for playing the entertaining Prof. Shorofsky and for composing one of my all time favorite Christmas special.
