“Higo pico”, meaning spiky fig is the fruit of this cactus and one of my favorite deserts, quite common in the local wineries, the Guachinches. My grandmother used to poor sweet condensed milk over it, but if you can, try it plain. Be aware of the tiny hair spikes on the outside!
