I've been thinking something and probably I am completely wrong, but whatever: louis some time ago tweeted completely randomly at niall talking about already knowing what was going to be the theme of this year new year's party. Now he is saying that he hopes the album will be out at the end of the year, but he doesn't know, even if he has already 9 songs on 12. Maybe he hopes to solve something about his contractual situation before new year and wants to wait that before dropping the album

I like the way you think. I also appreciated Louis’ discussion of his perfectionism. Plus, his husband is touring for the first part of 2018. So it makes more sense to tour the second half of the year. I think that’s awfully considerate of our wallets of him. If he does a late December or January album maybe I won’t go completely broke.

Well, we know he likes to release things on the 26th of the month and iirc apparently he favours Fridays? So I looked and noticed the 26th falls on a Friday in June.

BUT obviously that's the month that TVL now premiers so I think he will probably want to wait until after that's out of the way. I imagine he might want to wait until after SDCC (if we even get an SDCC this year due to potential strikes 🙃). Which brings us to August. The 26th isn't on a Friday that month, but remember that a certain well-known anon on another blog made a prediction regarding August 2026...

Hmmm… well it IS the YEAR 2026. Maybe RR will make an exception?
