Why I Think the Album Name is Kaleidoscope! 🌈🦋
Let me tell you why I think this is the album name.
1. Kaleidoscope in Reputation: @nameintomybedpost and I were talking and she told me that in the beginning of Reputation, Taylor wrote... “Someone who will still choose us even when they see all of the sides of the story, all the angles of the kaleidoscope that is you”.
2. Kaleidoscopes in the ME! Music Video: There are many different kaleidoscopes in the music video, especially the ceiling/the rainbow dome that is in the sky, the kaleidoscope heart under Brendon’s jacket, and the butterflies that look like colorful kaleidoscopes on their wings.
3. Kaleidoscope of Butterflies: In the ME! music video, Taylor encorporates a pink snake that turns into a group of kaleidoscope butterflies & apparently a group of butterflies is called a kaleidoscope!
4. Entertainment Weekly: In Taylor’s entertainment weekly interview, she talks about how the snake represents being misunderstood and how that turned into butterflies being released from the darkness and are now free & fluttering into the daylight, which correlates with the kaleidoscopes on the butterflies.
