So since I headcanon Albus as a parselmouth and I also headcanon him as magically powerful, naturally I combined those two together so:

Child!Albus really wants a pet and since James already has one, Harry decides to buy Albus a pet as well. So they go to the magical pet store and Albus makes a beeline for the snakes. He likes a tiny green snake the most and since it’s so small and Albus can talk to it, Harry decides to buy it for his son.

But it turns out the snake is more magical than Harry thought and it grows proportionally to the power of its owner. And by the time Albus is in his mid teens, the snake is already massive and Harry is forbidden to buy pets.

Albus and Scorpius meeting and befriending each other during their first year at Hogwarts is cute but consider this as well: Albus and Scorpius meeting when they are very little and are already best friends when they start Hogwarts

I have this headcanon that Albus and Scorpius were born almost at the same time or at least only a couple of hours apart so Draco and Harry were stuck together in the waiting room while Ginny and Astoria were giving births. And Harry noticing what a nervous wreck Draco was, took pity on him and awkwardly tried to reassure him because he knew what it was like to wait for the birth of a child for the first time. And when Scorpius and Albus were born, Draco and Harry introduced them to each other. And surprisingly, both dads kept in touch, Harry offering some dad!tips and Draco absorbing all the information like a sponge. And then they organised playdates for their kids and that’s how Scorpius and Albus became bffs literally from the cradle (and James began feeling very protective of both of them).

I have no problem differentiating between Hinny & Gilly, Scorbus & Drarry, Viktuuri & Drarry, etc. but sometimes I genuinely confuse Regulus aesthetics with angsty Albus aesthetic and I'm already bored with the "change Albus’s name" meme but Albus Regulus just sounds so cool and combined with James's middle name, it would've been such a nice reference

Albus: Once I asked him for a glass of water while he was pissed at me.

James: And?

Albus: He got me a glass of water but said that he was still pissed at me.

James: Tragic.
