Question!!! For the weirdly specific artist question!!!
19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.)
ooouuhh that's a hard one. i'm a character artist first and foremost so i am heavily inclined towards creatures so i often neglect inanimate things and backgrounds... (solid color bg my savior)
however i've been trying to fix this recently... except i overcorrected by going ham on one single piece... that i'm still working on.
i've it's very very fun to render inanimate objects, but also that it takes me twice as long as a plain character piece. there's a few specific things ive found a loot of joy in rendering (i can't say i have a favorite?)
1. i love clothing. its so fun. i love clothing folds i love fuzzy fabric i love adding sparkles and sequins all over it. i especially love (as i said in my previous post) that i looooove rendering translucent or sheer fabric. its too fun
2. i love rendering metal. its so shiny and sooo fun. once again adds to my urge to bedazzle literally everything,,, i was lookig for examples and i realise i dont do this enough...
3. i just love rendering items in general!! i need to make more excuses to do this...
heres some wips from that afformentioned single piece, but the most most fun thing to render here i think was the mp3 player, headphones, and the mountain dew cans
anyways. the true answer is i need to get more objectum about it NOW
(this is an ask in reference to this ask game!)
