After completing Sidereals, I couldn’t stay away from the communist robots from the Realm of Brass and Shadow. This link is to my Exalted Third Edition homebrew defining Alchemicals, featuring their Chassis structure, transcendence to mechs and cities, Clarity, and sundry other metamechanics. It includes a new mechanic called Overclocking meant to be to rival a Solar's Supernal capability, all 9 Attributes of Alchemical Charms, as well as *3* martial arts styles! Enjoy!
They’re the prototypes for other Exalted. They’re kinda reverse exalts; bodies made of magical materials and clay with the souls of humans loaded in like software. Their charms are actual physical gear that gets installed into their bodies. Need to be a better liar? Install a moonsilver array in your throat. Need to punch harder? Trade in your your knuckles for orichalcum spikes.
So, mostly no?
They ARE magic robots that live inside a machine-world, but that’s about where the similarities end.

So, today we did another session of the game in which I play Nomad Birthed in Gold and Steam (buff mettaton), the alchemical, and I finally used my Grand BeamKlave, objectively one of the coolest things ever, and got enough xp to get the Plasma Thruster Assembly charm, which is one of the other objectively coolest things cause it gives you a) a super jump b) a rocket powered dash attack that does double damage and c) fuckiNG IRONMAN FLIGHT POWERS. fucking 10 motes per hour with a top speed of 90 miles travelled during each of those hours. you can totally have it as retractable back thrusters but you can also have it as fucking ironman boosters on my feets. i have a lightsaber wielding ironman demigod as a character. It is fuckign the raddest.
from what i am seeing every alchemical in fandom is an absolute cutie as it is just and proper
