Gaga took the stage along with the Pet Shop Boys that night where she joined for the songs "What Have I Don to Deserve This?" and "West End Girls".
She wore a China porcelain teacup-printed molded body armor with sleeve and headpiece, all custom-made by Alchemy Studios along with matching long pants-turned-into-briefs by Haus of Gaga.
Finally, she sported a pair of Christian Louboutin’s beige patent Mini Bout peep-toe pumps.
For the press room and after party, Gaga changed into a hot pink silk strapless diamond-shaped dress with deep-plunging neck from Bernard Chandran’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection.
Her pair of round metal sunglasses are the Balenciaga 0006-S.
Let’s talk jewelry! Gaga rocked a pair of edgy diamond earrings and three rings all designed by LA-based jeweler Loree Rodkin.
So about the rings. The first one is the black rhodium-plated 18k white gold Maltese cross cage cocktail ring featuring 5.35 carats of round brilliant brown diamonds and 1.02 carats of round brilliant yellow diamonds.
The center one is a 18k white gold ring fully covered in brown diamonds.
Her other one is a 18k white gold Fleur de Lis cocktail ring featuring 2.40 carats of round brilliant diamonds with openwork motif.
Her two Victorian-inspired ornate diamond and gold bangles are signed by Indian jeweller Ash Amaira.
The rest of her accessories are provided by Jimmy Choo. She wore the black calfskin leather Uma flap clutch with silver-tone logo-engraved closure...
...and the Pisa pixelated leather ankle booties with open toe and slightly yellow-colored chunky lucite heel.
Lady Gaga performed at "Live at the Chapel" which was sponsored by Kia Soul in 2009. The set list consisted of six songs performed similarly to the Fame Ball and the recording took place at the Paddington Uniting Church in Sydney.
Check out her several outfit changes below!
First up, Gaga wore a black pleather scoop neck knee-length midi dress with rhinestone-embellished fins from Swarovski x Runway Rocks participant Lin Jing.
Her sunglasses are the Y-Not in black by Oliver Goldsmith which date way back to 1966.
A pair of Chanel black satin bow peep-toe ankle booties completed the look.
Next up, the Italian-American songstress emerged on stage in a bespoke newspaper print catsuit with shoulder pads, matching chest piece, elastic grey belt, yellow perforated shades and sculptural headpiece, all by Haus of Gaga.
Her sculptural black geometric headpiece was custom-made for her by Alchemy Studios!
She rocked her Givenchy Fall/Winter 2008 black leather open-toe Velcro strap wedge ankle boots.
Gaga then emerged on stage, wearing her custom Haus of Gaga x Muto-Little Costumes bubble dress, which was inspired by an original Chalayan design from 2007.
A pair of the Gala-01 clear lucite PVC mules by Fabulicious finished the look.
For this chapter of the mini concert, Gaga pulled out her favorite Atsuko Kudo 50s cup black latex bra...
....her braille cross necklace by Fetty Jewelry with the braille crystals reading “FAME”...
...and some Saint Laurent leather ankle booties featuring a mirrored heel.
Late at night, she was spotted leaving the venue where she threw on this vintage 1980s Alaïa black leather jacket with fitted waist, double-breasted front and wide lapels. The shoulders are rounded and slouched with a waist that nips in dramatically.
Lady Gaga did one of the coolest shots with Matthew Rolston, originally for the Rolling Stone magazine back in May 2009.
Hair by Peter Savic, makeup by Sharon Gault using M·A·C Cosmetics and manicure by Naja Rickette.
For the first look, which is the most prominent of the entire shoot, Gaga wears a geometric triangle leather jacket from Gareth Pugh’s Fall/Winter 2008 collection with custom Haus of Gaga “No!” underwear and body paint.
Underneath her black bra we can spot the NuBra adhesive silicone bra.
Her sunglasses are the classic Ray Ban Clubmaster tortoiseshell sunglasses with gold metal frame and black tinted lenses.
If you haven’t noticed yet, Gaga is wearing three different pair of shoes with this look!
The first ones are the Brian Atwood Fall/Winter 2009 Wicked black patent leather strappy peep-toe platform stiletto pumps.
The color-block patent leather criss-cross platform sandals are from the Pierre Hardy Spring/Summer 2009 collection.
In this outtake, Gaga is seen in a pair of black leather wedge booties with doorknocker detail and attached ankle strap by Parisian artisanal label Munoz Vrandecic.
Her geometric origami-inspired black headpiece is a custom piece made for her by Alchemy Studios!
In this shot the songstress is wearing a top entirely made of, you guessed it, duct tape!
She matched it with her favorite KTZ “Future Afrika Tribe” Fall/Winter 2009 beige leather lace-up ankle boots.
Next, Gaga wears a BDSM-inspired bodysuit in white with black trimming from Australian designer label Sass & Bide’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection...
...which she paired with the coolest white leather wedge ankle boots with contrast black lug sole by Danish footwear designer Camilla Skovgaard.
For this set of photos, Lady Gaga smizes while rocking the most interesting woven black ribbon and silver metal ring dress from late designer Benjamin Cho’s Fall/Winter 2008 collection, she’s appreciated before.
Finally, the Italian-American beauty poses fiercely in a vintage Azzaro black and white connected acrylic disc top which was turned into a crop top and skirt for her!
The black patent leather cage ankle boots with metal grid heels are from Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2009 collection.
Lady Gaga kicked off her “The Fame Ball” debut tour in early 2009 in support of her album “The Fame”, which was released in 2008. The creative director of this tour was Matthew “Dada” Williams, and Nicola Formichetti who styled her.
The tour opened in the most dramatic way possible with Gaga performing “Paparazzi”. She wore a custom Haus of Gaga x Muto-Little Costumes sculptural black mini dress with disco ball tile front panel. Later the whole dress was embellished with disco ball tiles all over.
She often switching between her custom-made Haus of Gaga disco mall mirror shard mask...
...and these vintage Versace 676 shield sunglasses from the 90s.
The singer sticked to black ankle boots and often used these Saint Laurent mirror-heeled black leather booties…
…or a pair of black perforated leather ankle booties with open toe by Aldo!
On a couple of dates Gaga rocked the silver tinsel and foam designs from Yvonne Lau’s “Alphabet” collection. A red version was custom-made for her and came with a matching headband.
She wore her favorite black Alpina Gold Wing shield sunglasses with these looks which she got from Jack’s Eyewear in LA!
Next, the singer emerges on stage wearing a black and white hand-painted lighting bolt molded top and sleeve Alchemy Studios created in collaboration with Haus of Gaga, who made the sculptural headpiece for her too.
Her sculptural black geometric headpiece was custom-made for her, also by Alchemy Studios!
The look was further styled with a pair of Ray-Ban’s classic white Wayfarer shades with tapered temples…
…and her favorite Givenchy Fall/Winter 2008 black leather open-toe Velcro strap wedge ankle boots.
Iconic designer Jeremy Scott custom-made this blue denim bodysuit with crystal embellishment, chest pockets, buttoned front and peak shoulders for Gaga’s tour.
Her studded square shield sunglasses are vintage. A Haus of Gaga crystal-embellished hood, studded leather cap...
...and these to-die-for black leather knee-high boots with side lace-up details by Fantasy Shoes provided the finishing touches.
One of my favorite tour looks ever has to be this tan sleeveless mock neck bodysuit with layered waspie and bra, entirely embellished with moccha-brown crystals by the Haus of Gaga, who also created the matching accessories such as...
...a leather admiral’s cap with big, bold ‘GAGA’ lettering and contrast black visor...
...fingerless tan leather gloves, again, with crystals and ‘GAGA’ embroidery...
...and finally, some matching boot covers to go on top of her shoes. Go all in or go home, she said!
Another bespoke Haus of Gaga x Mutto-Little Costumes creation is the bubble dress, inspired by a design Chalayan made for his Spring/Summer 2007 collection. This dress is encompassed with plexiglass bubbles in various sizes. Later she debuted a jacket version which had a plastic base.
She also wore the Fabulicious Cocktail-501 clear PVC mules with plexiglass heel and platform.
The Haus of Gaga created three different swatches of this adorable peplum dress with tutu underneath: lavender, yellow and white. The dress boasts a deep-plunging neck, sharp pointed shoulders, long sleeves and a fitted waist.
On some dates, she wore these custom Haus of Gaga yellow perforated oversized shades!
For this look Gaga chose accessories from Louis Vuitton’s collaboration with artist Stephen Sprouse, such as the fuchsia graffiti bangle…
…and the matching patent leather slingback pointed-toe pumps.
Austin, Texas welcomed Gaga on May 6th where she wore a bespoke Haus of Gaga black sequined catsuit with sheer panels and a bespoke Brian Lichtenberg black sequined moto jacket with silver metal hardware.
She crowned this outfit with the Y-Not sunglasses by Oliver Goldsmith. These date way back to 1966!
My favorite looks come from the London-based house of Japanese latex couture designer Atsuko Kudo, who was commissioned to create several red latex looks for our madame.
“The highly studded red outfit was specially commissioned the day before the Glastonbury set and we pulled out all the stops to turn it around in 12 hours from start to finish. The complete ensemble does also involve a major piece of matching studded headgear”.
Atsuko and her team made a heavily spiked 50s cup bra bra with matching hood, studded high-waisted garter shorts, a body-loving studded dress, gloves in various lengths, and chain fringe shoulder epaulettes.
The wide-brim cord-tie gaucho hat, she topped the look with, is from the Spring/Summer 2009 collection of Nasir Mazhar.
On her shoulder we can spot a large Luxor chain top handle bag in quilted red patent leather by Angel Jackson. She carried a yellow version prior.
Her forest-green rubber-illusion leather Wellington boots with beige rib knit lining, lug sole and garter straps are from Prada’s Fall/Winter 2009 collection.
Another cool Atsuko Kudo moment was given to us with this custom nude latex 50s cup bra and knickers which she paired with a heavily embellished white leather bolero jacket from Arab designer QASIMI’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection!
“It’s based on Byzantine women who have been woken up from a crypt and hauled on to the catwalk” says Al Qasimi about the collection.
Her oversized round white sunglasses with “CD” silver initials on each temple are the Josephine 1 by Dior.
Gaga brought the tour with her at G-A-Y club in London where she wore this unique look that comprised a custom hand-painted L.A. Roxx leather jacket which depicted the singer’s face on the back.
She also wore the Dame de Paris push-up bra by Marlies Dekkers and a strappy open cup bra and matching panties by Bordelle.
Her thigh-high black glitter boots with plexiglass platform and heel are the Delight-3010 by Pleaser.
Another look she wore those boots with, is this unique one she used during her performance in Korea. Gaga opted for a studded leather bodysuit with a YOSHiKO CREATiON PARiS Fall/Winter 2007 spiral crystal pipe bra which held her cigarettes for her.
She also wore a pair of Alpina’s Gold Wing shades. Unless the other version we’ve seen earlier in this post, this pair features a gold metal frame.
Finally, Gaga rocked this hooded flesh-colored bodysuit showered in brown gemstones, which was custom-made by the Haus of Gaga.
