This bud holder is inspired by what I call ‘the seagull man’, there’s a man who comes to Aldinga beach everyday in a Ute and the seagulls flock to him. Some even rest on his arms. Every month I hold creative accountability sessions for local women in small business: creatives, wellness practitioners, educators, carers. Supporting each other reach our goals and live the lives we aim for. Each sessions starts with a bowl of food before a creative activity that helps nourish us and get us into mindfulness and clarity for our life, our work, our souls. Then we go deeper, looking at where we want to be, what we need to do to get there, what steps can be achieved in the month ahead, and how can we support each other to achieve our goals. Last month, in our creative activity, we selected words we wanted to live by using @urban_mind_project Being. Design code cards. This month we made our own cards and tied them together with plants from our gardens. These will be placed in a dye bath ready for opening next month. There’s places available if you’re interested in joining us. Pay for rest of year or month by month. At home trimming some pots I’d thrown a few weeks ago and, we’re still quite wet earlier in the week - to wet fir trimming but then dried out almost too much (the stone looking ones). Then decided to throw a few more from the black clay. No measuring done here. Wish I had as I’d like to make more of these shapes.
