A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms characters i've seen people fawn over ranked by how much i understand it:

Dunk (100/10): the greenest flag in Westeros, a true genuine himbo, more people should be head over heels over him honestly;

Lyonel Baratheon (10/10): it feels like he was made in a lab to be sexualised by the fandom and by god it worked;

Baelor Targaryen (9/10): not my type but i see the appeal of a strong righteous authoritative dilf;

Daeron the Drunken (8/10): biggest "i can fix him" bait i have seen in a long time and honestly i'm not completely immune to that;

Maekar Targaryen (7/10): i didn't expect people to be so horny about the prequel of Stannis Baratheon but sure why not, who doesn't love a grumpy daddy;

Aerion Brightflame (3/10): on the other hand i totally expected people to go insane over Aerion but i don't get it, he's just the poor man's version of Aemond and i don't even think he's that hot;

Valarr Targaryen (0/10): guys. he hasn't even spoken a full line yet.

rick riordan trying to justify his decisions to write his female characters of color like harmful stereotypes despite knowing that they were harmful stereotypes and receiving only a fourth of the backlash that jk rowling’s ever received for a book series written in the 90s (when riordan’s latter works are from the last 10 years), not counting the current “terf” stuff, tells you everything you need to know about the standard women are held to.

even taking into account that harry potter is a bigger series than percy jackson, absolutely nobody, not even the most diehard stans, are as ridiculous in their hate towards the author as they are to jkr. but no, it’s not misogyny.
