THE THROAM PROLOGUE PROJECT (ON HIATUS) — PAGES 1-7 Lately I’ve received some messages by people who, despite everything, still follow me and remember me for my THROAM art. I have said it plenty of times before and I’ll say it again: making comics inspired by THROAM was such a fun and fulfilling time of my life. I received costant feedback (most of it extremely positive!) got to meet new people, and grew so much as a self-taught artist!

Last summer, after a long period of not drawing THROAM-related stuff, I decided I wanted to try my hand at something bigger. I planned out, scripted, and sketched a comic that could cover the entire prologue for the story. I had several plans for this (including sending it to Anna lol) which now I am afraid might never see the light.

But even though I can’t bring myself to finish this thing right now, I thought that maybe there might be a couple of people who are still interested in THROAM art, so here’s the finished pages!

In case you want to see what I’m up to these days, I’m mostly sharing fanart for different medias both on tumblr and instagram as @skywalekersart; more links (commissions, shop, etc.) here; or you can find me as @skywaleker on basically any other social page. kinda.

WIP: THE THROAM PROLOGUE PROJECT —page 6 I concentrate on driving, and he falls silent for a while. When he speaks, he sounds troubled. “What if he’s forgotten? Or what if he’s still mad at you?” “What if I’m still mad at him?” “You’re not,” he says knowingly. I hate it when he’s right. Heya! I just wanted to post a lq version of this single page only ‘cause I’m happy with it! I’m only 7/20 pages in so far, but the full prologue will be available in hq once I’m finished with it! You know, I’ve finished page 6 this morning and am planning the layout for the next ones. I still don’t know how long it’s gonna be but I'm definitely posting it somewhere (most probably here), 'cause it's looking very neat so far!

I really didn’t think anyone would read my post tags, but thank you so much for the replies! Here’s the only (lousy) way I came up with to share a sneak peek of what I’m doing.

I really have no clue on how to share my progress as I go (I thought about ig stories ? idkidk) but I’d love to, especially since this will take much longer than simple throamics and it’d be useful to get feedback along the while!
