Me: lying down to sleep

The muse: so, how can we get John and Rodney to attend a couples retreat?

Me: its sleeping time

The muse: everyone can think they're together and they need Intel on something to do with Ancient tech so they're the logical choice, of course; but not actually together yet, just pining obliviously

Me: sleep...

The muse: and we could include naked yoga

Me: ....

The muse: or, it doesnt have to be naked. Just something to get them really aware of how flexible they are. Teyla's doing of course with all the stretching she includes in their fighting lessons

Me: keep this up and I'm gonna throw you at the kinkmeme tomorrow

Me: Sitting down to write. All right, I’m ready!

The muse: ...

Me: I said, I’m ready.

The muse: ...

Me: I’m here, let’s go!

The muse: ...

Me: C’mon. McShep. Sentinel and Guide fic!

The muse: ...

Me: Well, I mean, if you don’t want to work on that one, we could try one of the other ideas you’ve been throwing at me? Bug!John fic? Couples retreat fic?

The muse: ...

Me: Anything?

The muse: ...

Me: are you ignoring me? Are you serious? You spent *all day* trying to get my attention!

The muse: oh, I’m sorry, are you talking to me?

Me:  who else would I be talking to?

The muse: it’s just, you’ve spent all day ignoring me

Me: I had *adult* things to do! But they’re done now. I’m ready!

The muse: I’m not

Me: What?!

Me: calmly enjoying my evening, patting the cat

The muse: okay, I know I've silent for the last twenty hours or so but - what if Teyla was a Sentinel and Ronon was her Guide? Obviously in that other mcshep sentinel/guide fic I was telling you about

Me: um.....

The muse: throw away the stereotypes! If Ronon was a Sentinel how would he have survived as a runner? And all the satedan guides dying?

Me: but I'm not sure if I want Teyla and Ronon together

The muse: well, you could always make Bates Teyla's guide

Me: Bates?

The muse: Yeah. He was so suspicious cos he kept picking up on something but didn't know what it was. Obviously, once online he calms down and everything is good

Me: ..... can we finish the angsty fic first?
